Get ready because a natural water park is coming to the Serranía de Ronda.
The ravine of Zarzalones or Río Grande awaits you in Yunquera, at the gates of the Sierra de las Nieves National Park. An aquatic descent surrounded by vegetation, with simple abseils, pools, slides and even a siphon for the brave.

What we will do
We will be at the meeting point in Yunquera, Malaga, 10 minutes before the booking time. There we will meet our guides, who we will follow in private cars to the end of the Zarzalones or Rio Grande ravine. From there, we will go up in 4x4 to the beginning of the descent.
When we are all together, we will receive the material and we will be able to solve the first doubts. We will explore the lower section, the most aquatic and fun part, perfect for beginners or to enjoy with the family. The guides will explain the basic rules and how to use the equipment.
Along the route we will descend 5 ramp rappels, without technical verticals. We will find crystal clear water pools, swimming sections, small natural slides and even a siphon for those who dare with an extra adrenaline rush. All this surrounded by the vegetation of the spectacular Serranía de Ronda, within the Sierra de las Nieves National Park.
We will always follow the pace of the group, so that everyone can enjoy the experience in complete safety. We will finish the route, of little more than 1 km and 65 metres of height difference, in a maximum of 3 hours. When we leave the canyon we will be very close to the car park, so the return will be immediate.
The total duration of the experience will be about 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
It is not necessary to have experience in canyoning and you can participate from 30 kg of weight, but it is advisable to be used to do some physical activity.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. You will need to inform the guide in advance if children will be participating. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, please consult your doctor.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum group of 6 people is reached .
Important: you will have to communicate in advance to the guide the following information about each of the participants: height, height, weight, name and ID number. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
There will always be 2 guides to be able to follow the group in complete safety.
Please note that you will be in the middle of nature and that there are no facilities for changing or storing personal belongings.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can stay in the area and visit the village of Yunquera. Dogs may be kept on a leash.
It is not advisable to go with low cars, as it is necessary to go through a mountain track. In the area you will find free parking, but it is not possible to get there by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
