Via Ferrata Tormo de la Margarida in Tivissa

Are you looking for thrills without having to walk for 4 hours in the mountains? Then this is the via ferrata for you!

Get ready for a 1h 45 min vertical challenge where you will be face to face with the rock of Tivissa. The Tormo de la Margarida is a short but very intense route, perfect for those who want direct action with no detours. You will climb 2 vertical walls connected by a breathtaking side pass and you will choose for yourself how to finish the adventure: a relaxed finish at the top or an extra stretch of strength to test your arms? Under the guidance of experts, you will reach one of the best balconies of the Ribera del Ebro in an experience where every minute is better than the last.

What we will do

We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Tivissa. There we will be welcomed and after a brief talk about how to move safely and the use of the material, we will be equipped with everything we need: helmet, harness and safety cables. From the village, we will walk for just 15 minutes along a comfortable path until we reach the base of the mountain.

This experience is short but straight to the point. Forget the long walks; here we come to climb. The route is cleverly designed so that we feel the rock at all times. We start by climbing up two impressive vertical walls that are connected by a very visual side-step, where we feel the height beneath our feet as we make our way to the top of the crag.

The most fun comes at the end, where we decide the level of challenge: we can finish the climb on an easier and more relaxed path along the ridge, or dare to take on a more steep and steep step that will test our arms and expertise. Whatever our choice, the reward is the same: reaching one of the most spectacular balconies in the region, with panoramic views of the Ebro riverbank and the outlines of the Montsant mountain range.

The whole activity lasts approximately 1h 45 min. After enjoying the summit and taking some photos, we will return to the village by a 30-minute downhill path. It is the perfect plan to experience an intense dose of mountain.

Who it is aimed at

This adventure is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over.

Children must always be accompanied by an adult.

As it is a K3 level, it is an ideal ferrata for active people in normal physical shape.

It is important not to have a paralysing fear of heights.

For safety reasons, the activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or recent serious injuries.

Other information

The experience is available from 1 July to 31 December.

The trips are organised for groups with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 8.

For groups of up to 14 participants (with 2 monitors) it will be necessary to arrange the booking in advance by contacting our customer service.

Supplement for minimum group size: For bookings of only 2 participants, if the minimum ratio of 3 is not reached, a supplement of 6 € per person to be paid directly to the organiser will be applied.

Free parking is available at the meeting point . It is recommended to go in your own vehicle, as there is no public transport in the area.

Pets are not allowed.
