Get ready to hang and climb in an adventure in the heart of the Pyrenees that has it all!
On the via ferrata Salt del Botanal, in Alins, Pallars Sobirà, you'll climb walls, cross suspension bridges and enjoy spectacular views. With options for all levels. From gentle sections to more challenging steps for those who want more adrenaline. This ferrata is perfect for beginners or to increase your adrenaline level.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in the town of Alins, in Pallars Sobirà, in the province of Lleida. Our expert guide will be waiting for us there, who will give us a brief explanation of the route, how to use the equipment and the basic rules for safe enjoyment. Everything will be very clear, so that we can start the adventure with confidence.
After getting equipped, we will make a comfortable 5 minute approach to the start of the route, and this is where the good stuff starts! Little by little we will climb the wall of the Salt del Botanal, overcoming vertical sections, clamps, handrails and exciting crossings, such as two suspension bridges (one of 50 metres that will make you feel really high up!). Along the main route (level K3), we will be gaining height and enjoying spectacular views of the Pyrenees, with the possibility of taking breaks, photos and, of course, lots of laughs.
If you are looking for even more excitement, there are optional passes with more difficulty (up to level K5+), such as overhangs and more technical areas, perfect for leveling up. And if you prefer something quieter, there are well signposted escapes so that you can continue to enjoy yourself without pressure.
Once we reach the final viewpoint, we will stop for a moment to admire the scenery and show off what we have just achieved! Then we'll start our way back along a path full of history: the same path where the fallaires come down with lit torches on the night of San Juan, a spectacular tradition of the village.
In total it will be about 3 hours of pure fun, between nature, adrenaline and moments that we will not forget.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children may participate as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
For safety reasons, this experience is not recommended for pregnant women, people with motor disabilities, reduced mobility or in the process of post-operative recovery.
No previous experience is required.
Other information
The activity is available every day from April to November, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 people.
There are no changing rooms, showers or lockers for valuables.
Parking options are available in the area . The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
In case of previous serious injuries, it is necessary to inform the organisers in advance. You will receive contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Pets are not allowed during the activity. Accompanying persons (and their pets) may wait at the meeting point or in the surrounding area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
