Fed up with conventional routes? Leave the valley below and set off to conquer one of the most complete and panoramic ferratas in the Terres de l'Ebre.
Break away from the usual and embark on an adventure of up to 3 hours in the foothills of the Massif dels Ports! Become the protagonist of an epic ascent: overcome two Tibetan bridges (one of them 13 metres high! ), progress along ledges with a patio and enjoy brutal views of the Ebro Valley under the supervision of certified guides. It's the perfect plan to release adrenaline in a wild environment and discover that the authentic rhythm of Tortosa is best felt by conquering heights.
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Alfara de Carles, very close to Tortosa, where punctuality is the key to making the most of the day. There we will be welcomed and we will have an initial briefing where we will learn the techniques of progression and safety before equipping ourselves with all the approved material: helmet, harness and dissipative tapes.
We will walk for just 20 minutes along an approach path that will take us right into the Ports Massif until we reach the base of the route. Penyaflor is an intense and recently extended ferrata that offers a route of 800 metres equipped with a great variety of obstacles: chains, handrails and steps that guarantee a dynamic and very safe progression.
As we gain height, the thrill will increase as we face its famous Tibetan bridges. Crossing the 13-metre bridge suspended on the rock is the highlight of the route, where you will feel the verticality in its purest form. The route stands out for its ledges with "a lot of patio", which will give us an incredible feeling of freedom while the Ebro Valley unfolds at our feet .
From the top, the views are a spectacular contrast between the relief of the Massif and the course of the river Ebro looking for its mouth. We will always be accompanied by expert mountain guides who will tell us interesting facts about the environment and give us the best tips to enjoy every step.
The total experience lasts between 2 and a half and 3 hours. At the end of the descent, we'll return to the starting point with the feeling of having completed a K2/K3 level? without a doubt, an unforgettable experience.
Who it is aimed at
This adventure is suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
As it is a K2/K3 level, a medium level of fitness is required and, above all, no vertigo.
For safety reasons, the activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with reduced mobility or recent serious injuries.
Other information
The experience is available from 1 July to 31 December.
The trips are organised for groups with a minimum of 3 participants and a maximum of 8.
For groups of up to 14 participants (with 2 monitors) it will be necessary to arrange the booking in advance by contacting our customer service.
Supplement for minimum group size: For bookings of only 2 participants, if the minimum ratio of 3 is not reached, a supplement of 6 € per person to be paid directly to the organiser will be applied.
Free parking is available at the meeting point . It is recommended to go in your own vehicle, as there is no public transport in the area.
Pets are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
