If you are passionate about via ferratas, this activity is for you. From the approach section to the last vertical wall, you will be put to the test on an intermediate level route.
In Morera del Monstsant you will cross 2 Tibetan bridges, one of them 16 metres long, and you will overcome a 250-metre drop, showing all your agility. You will enjoy panoramic views of the Priorat and you will discover the accesses to the mountain range known as "graus" of Montsant.
Accept the challenge and live a 3-hour experience in contact with nature to the fullest.
What we will do
The meeting point is Carrer de la Font, in La Morera de Montsant. We will have to show up about 30 minutes before the start so that the monitors can give us our helmet, harness and dissipative straps.
The first part will be dedicated to a talk on safety and technique, in which we will receive all the information we need to make the most of this challenging via ferrata, one of the most outstanding in the area. The approach section will put us to the test, with a 45-minute route that is both beautiful and demanding in equal parts.
The ascent of the 2 km via ferrata will be an exciting experience, a mixture of vertigo and satisfaction . In fact, it is advisable to have some mountain experience. We will cross 2 Tibetan bridges, one of them 16 metres long, which will allow us to enjoy a spectacular panorama. We will cross a drop of 250 metres and the location of the final vertical wall will leave us speechless.
We will enjoy wonderful panoramic views of the Priorat with its vineyards and the Serra de Montsant Natural Park, which will fill us with joy before we start the return journey. We will finish with a route of just over an hour that will allow us to discover the "graus" of Montsant, accesses to the mountain range with natural steps or steps to overcome the difference in altitude.
In total, the route will last 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is intermediate level and requires a good physical condition and some experience in via ferrata.
Children can participate from the age of 12 and must be accompanied by a responsible adult or present a signed permit.
Other information
The activity can be done all year round. It will be confirmed if a minimum of 3 people is reached and each group will have a maximum of 7 participants.
It is possible to do private routes with up to 2 people with a supplement of 6 euros/person.
Free parking is possible near the meeting point and the route is circular, so it starts and finishes at the same point.
The route is classified as K3, intermediate level.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.
