The via ferrata de la Canalassa is perfect for getting started in the vertical world on the right foot, even with the family. An easy, safe and circular route, to dedicate a couple of hours to the thrill of advancing along a wall equipped with steps, clamps, a bridge. .. Always accompanied by a guide.
Breathtaking views of Berguedà and the satisfaction of having conquered the summit await you. Do you dare?
What we will do
The appointment will be at the indicated point in Vallcebre, 10 minutes before the booking time. Our guide will be waiting for us, handing over the equipment and giving us the first indications. From there, an easy 15-minute walk will take us to the start of the route, in the heart of the natural environment of Berguedà.
Before starting, the guide will give a briefing explaining how to use the equipment and how to progress along the route. From that moment on, the fun begins for the whole family: a circular and undemanding via ferrata, designed for those who want to take their first steps in the vertical world.
We will go up and down calmly, always secured to the life cable, overcoming small sections equipped with clamps, steps and a fun 9-metre bridge. All at a maximum height of 20 metres and with the support of the guide at all times.
The experience is completed with spectacular views that, on clear days, will give us panoramic views from the Montseny to the Pyrenees. The return will be just as easy, with another 15-minute walk back to the starting point.
The activity will last approximately 2 hours, of which we will spend 1 hour and a half walking along the via ferrata.
Who it is aimed at
This is a level 1 via ferrata. No experience is necessary and it is suitable for families.
It can be done from 5 years of age, minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight is 110 kg.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, as well as for people with cardiovascular problems, back or knee injuries. It is forbidden to do the activity under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity can be done all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
There are no facilities with changing rooms or lockers. It is advisable to bring the minimum necessary, as you will have to leave valuables in the car.
Accompanying persons who do not participate may accompany the group to the start of the ferrata and/or do some hiking in the area. Dogs may be kept on a lead.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
