If you are looking for a first contact with the rock that combines bridges, height and fun, the granophyre of Ribes is waiting for you.
Get ready for a 3-hour adventure in the heart of the Pyrenees climbing the only granophyre of volcanic origin in Catalonia. A fun and accessible beginner's level route (K2), where you will progress safely through simple vertical sections and 3 exciting bridges. Under the supervision of qualified guides, you will conquer the heights to enjoy the best panoramic views of the Núria Valley and Cerdanya.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Ribes de Freser, Girona. There we will be welcomed and after introductions, we will be equipped with all the technical material while we have a safety briefing. It doesn't matter if it's our first time; they will explain step by step how to use the harness and the dissipators so that we can progress on the wall with total autonomy and confidence from the first minute.
After a walk of just 15 minutes, we will leave the asphalt behind us to get to the Roca de la Creu. This is where the real adventure begins: we will climb on the only granophyre of volcanic origin in Catalonia, a rough and firm rock that seems designed so that your hands and feet always find the perfect place. As we climb, the route becomes more exciting but always manageable, allowing us to enjoy the altitude without being overwhelmed.
The key moment comes with the 3 suspension bridges. Feeling the swinging beneath our feet as we cross from one block to another is pure adrenaline, but always with the security of being anchored to the life wire. As we traverse the 380 metres of route, the horizon will open up to show us the Ribes Valley and the peaks of the Pyrenees from a perspective that only climbers know.
After about 3 hours of activity, we'll reach the summit with the feeling of having overcome the challenge. But the experience doesn't end on the way down; after a 40-minute descent, we'll meet up for a final refreshment. It will be time to relax, discuss the best moves of the day and celebrate our first great vertical conquest.
Who it is aimed at
This via ferrata is suitable for beginners.
It is an easy level (K1-K2), so you only need to be in normal physical condition.
The minimum weight of the participants is 40 kg and the maximum is 120 kg.
The minimum height is 1. 40 metres.
For safety reasons, the activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with serious heart problems or reduced mobility.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The activity is possible every day, all year round.
Parking is available in the area.
It is possible to reach the surrounding area by public transport.
Accompanying persons not participating can wait at the meeting point.
A minimum of 4 people is required to confirm the departure and a maximum of 40 (with one guide for every 8/10 participants) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
