Ignore the sensation of vertigo and put yourself to the test with the via ferrata Feixa del Colom in Montblanc: climb a drop of 370 metres following the instructions of an expert instructor.
The particular shape of this route creates a suggestive perspective, but the sections are easy: perfect for the most intrepid beginners. In addition, the approach section will allow you to discover some of the most attractive spots in the area.
The spectacular views of the Pyrenees in the distance and the plain at your feet will make the 2.5-hour walk well worth it.
What we will do
The activity monitors will meet us 30 minutes before the start of the activity in the vicinity of the municipal football pitch in Montblanc. There we will be given the necessary equipment to tackle the via ferrata Feixa del Colom: helmet, harness and dissipative tapes.
We will then take part in a session on safety and climbing techniques and, as we walk along the first section, we will learn everything we need to make the most of an exciting experience . We will walk in the middle of nature, from the hermitage of Sant Joan, which we will be able to cross inside, to the hermitage of Santíssima Trinitat.
After an hour's approach, we'll start the ascent of the via ferrata, one of the most unusual because of its 4-shape. And it is precisely this characteristic that makes it especially attractive: about 45 minutes to test your balance and agility. There will be 7 short sections, technically easy, but that will make us see everything from a different perspective, creating a greater sense of vertigo.
From the top, we will be able to see both the Pyrenees in the distance, especially on clearer days, and the entire Tarragona plain. The landscape, already impressive on the way up, becomes extraordinary at our feet. A moment to take a deep breath and recharge your batteries before starting the descent.
The return will be via an easy path, which in about 50 minutes will take us back to the initial track. We will have covered 7.5 km, including 400 metres of via ferrata, and overcome a drop of 370 metres.
In total, the route will take 2.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone in good physical condition (appropriate to the type of activity).
Children can participate from the age of 12 and must be accompanied by a responsible adult or present a signed permission slip.
Other information
The activity can be done all year round. It will be confirmed if a minimum of 3 people is reached and each group will have a maximum of 8 participants.
It is possible to do private routes with up to 2 people with a supplement of 6 euros/person.
Free parking is possible near the meeting point and the route is circular, so you start and finish at the same point.
The route is classified as k2, beginners level.
At the end of the activity you will receive the photos taken during the route.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
