Dare to cross the longest Nepalese bridge in the Iberian Peninsula! On one of the most epic ferratas in Catalonia: the Via Ferrata Baumes Corcades, in Centelles.
Just 45 minutes from Barcelona, this gem has it ALL: vertical walls, overhangs, side traverses and a 69-metre bridge that will get your heart racing.
Perfect even if you're just starting out, but don't want something too basic.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Centelles, in the region of Osona, Barcelona. There, we will be met by our technical climbing guide, who will explain everything we need to know before we start: how to use the equipment, how to progress safely on the route and some tips to enjoy it to the full.
Once equipped with harness, helmet, dissipator and rest strap, we will begin the approach: a gentle 5 minute walk that will leave us right at the start of the adventure. And that's where the good stuff begins!
We will climb the first vertical stretch, which will make us feel the tingling in our stomachs and the desire for more. Little by little, we will gain height and confidence. From there, we'll walk a little until we reach the main attraction: the famous 69-metre Nepalese bridge (optional), where we'll have to take a deep breath, activate all our senses and cross!
After the bridge, we will continue along a long side flank that will give us amazing views of the Osona region and beyond: Montseny, the Pyrenees, and the Congost river... pure spectacle.
We will continue walking until the last stretch. In this part we will find a couple of overhangs that will put our arms to the test (but don't worry, there is a metal structure to help us). Finally, you will reach the summit of Turó de Puigsagordi, at 984 metres above sea level, where panoramic views await you, making every step worthwhile.
After enjoying a while at the summit, we will start our way back, walking quietly amidst laughter and memories of our recent experiences. In total it will be about 4 and a half hours of pure adventure, emotion and nature.
Who it is aimed at
This via ferrata is suitable for beginners. Given the characteristics of the activity itself, it will be necessary to have some physical preparation.
The minimum weight of the participants is 40 kg and the maximum is 120 kg.
The minimum height is 1.45 metres.
It is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart or respiratory problems or people who are overweight. In addition, it is not suitable for people with motor disabilities. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, consult your doctor.
The minimum recommended age is 10 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Other information
It is possible to do this activity every day, all year round. The starting time is early in the morning to avoid crowds.
There is parking in the area.
It is possible to get to Centelles by public transport, but not to the area around the via ferrata.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait at the meeting point.
A maximum of 6 people per group may participate, accompanied by a climbing guide.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
