Fancy an adventure? With this licence-free speedboat rental, you're at the helm. All you need is time, enthusiasm and good company.
After a little training and advice on the route, you will sail aboard a comfortable and easy to handle boat. You'll be able to sail around the bay of Alcúdia and, if you book more time, reach places like Cala Mesquida or Cala Murta .
Take some snacks with you, choose your favourite coves and enjoy the sea at your own pace.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the office located in Puerto de Alcúdia, Mallorca.
You will be met by the staff in charge who will give you a brief 10-minute talk on safety regulations. Afterwards you will go to the port of Can Picafort, where the unlicensed boats are located. There you will have the second part of the briefing, about the technical aspects of the boat.
If you need it, an expert skipper will accompany you on a practice ride, to make sure you feel comfortable before sailing on your own. In addition, you will be given indications on the best places to visit and where to anchor. On board you will also find a portable cooler and before leaving you can buy ice in the office: don't forget your drinks and food to make the most of the experience.
You will sail on a V2 5.0, a rigid boat of 5 metres in length and a 15 hp engine. It can accommodate a maximum of 6 people and has an awning, a large solarium at the bow and high-backed seats at the stern.
During the navigation you will sail around the bay of Alcúdia and, on longer trips, you can even venture further afield: from Cala Mesquida to Cala Murta and Cala Figuera, passing through the bay of Pollença. Of course, always respecting the distance from the coast that the team will indicate you. It will be exciting to choose a hidden spot where you can anchor, swim or simply relax in the sun.
The experience will last a total of 4 or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen during the booking.

The activity is suitable for everyone. To rent the boat you must be of legal age.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The boat is accessible for people with slight mobility problems, although it is not possible to board in a wheelchair. If you think you will need assistance during boarding, it is advisable to let us know in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The charter is available all year round and the departure time can be 4 or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen at the time of booking.
A security deposit of 500 euros must be paid by credit card before boarding. On return to port it will also be necessary to refuel and pay for the fuel used by credit card or cash.
On board it will be necessary to be barefoot.
Dogs are also allowed on board. However, dogs must be notified in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
In the office you can buy ice for the cooler and rent snorkelling equipment, watertight bags, inflatables ...
There is a free car park very close to the meeting point. There is also a paid car park in the harbour itself.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
