Let yourself be surprised by the wildest and most authentic side of Fuerteventura with this buggy tour from Costa Calma to the splendid Playa de Ugán. A tour through dry canyons, desert hills and magnificent beaches.
You will drive for about 2 and a half hours enjoying breathtaking panoramas over the Natural Park of Jandía.
An expert guide will accompany you and make sure you have a memorable experience!
What we will do
The meeting time is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Costa Calma, where we will be welcomed by the guide.
After a full briefing on how the buggy works and a short road test, we will set off to discover the natural wonders of Fuerteventura!
Our route will start by crossing desert areas and dry riverbeds. We will reach La Pared, overlooking the Jandía Natural Park, a spot loved by surfers for its wild charm.
We continue on to Playa de Ugán and Playa del Rey, two black sand beaches surrounded by cliffs and crashing waves. We will stop to take pictures and admire the ocean.
We will then stop for 15 minutes at a local bar, where we can relax and buy a drink to refresh ourselves (drinks not included).
Finally, we will climb a panoramic hill from where we will see Costa Calma and the white sandy stretch of Playa Sotavento, one of the most iconic places on the island.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours, of which 2 and a half hours will be spent in the buggy. We will cover 55 km, of which 50% on a dirt road and 50% on tarmac, with a maximum gradient of 250 m.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and in possession of a driving licence. The passenger must be at least 4 years old.
Each vehicle can carry a maximum weight of 220 kg.
The activity is not recommended for pregnant women, while it is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility, who can participate as passengers.
The experience is easy and suitable for a first time buggy rider.
Other information
The tour is available all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday, and is confirmed when a minimum of 3 buggies are reached.
During the tour , driver and passenger can swap drivers and passengers, if both are of legal age and have a valid driving licence.
The organiser has 14 2-seater buggies available for a maximum of 28 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking spaces are available on site.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
