A 4x4 tour with boat trip will unfold before your eyes all the natural and scenic richness of the Ebro Delta Natural Park.
Thanks to this immersive experience you will understand the complex diversity of ecosystems of this park, as well as its traditions, culture and history. With a 3-hour ride in a 4x4 car and boat, you will be able to appreciate the fauna and flora of an idyllic environment, as well as taste the delicious local mussels.
A trip along the river Ebro and the rural roads of the area will take you to contemplate unique landscapes. Absorb your energy!
What we will do
The meeting point is at Riumar beach. It is necessary to arrive 15 minutes before the agreed time.
At this place we will make a first introduction, with explanatory panels, of what the Ebro Delta Natural Park has to offer.
Then, we will start the first part of the tour, in a 4x4 Land Rover Defender car. We will dedicate the first hour of the activity to a 5 to 8 kilometres tour through the rural roads of the park and the urbanization of Riumar. We will make stops at various points of interest, and in this way we will get to know the most important cultural, historical and biological sites with a guide.
In the second part we will board the boat to start the navigation on the river Ebro, with explanations about the curiosities, fauna and flora that we will find on the route. The aim is to better understand the different ecosystems and habitats of this Natural Park.
We will also visit the mouth of the river, Riumar Beach and the Llacuna del Garxal, an area with dream views, inhabited by a wide variety of birds. After an hour's walk along the river we will get back in the 4x4 to return to the starting point.
The activity will end at the meeting point on the beach of Riumar, where an exquisite tasting of mussels km 0, from the Bay of Fangar, awaits us. Drinks for participants will be soft drinks, beers and Terra Alta wine.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone.
It is possible to participate with slight mobility problems, but the vehicles and the boat are not wheelchair accessible.

The activity is available from March until October and will be confirmed if a minimum group of 4 people is reached.
Children up to 5 years old are entitled to participate free of charge. If there are 2 or more children in this age group in the same family, it may be necessary to pay a symbolic fee of 5 euros. In any case, it will be necessary to inform the organiser in advance of the presence of children between 0 and 5 years of age. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
People who cannot eat mussels can request an alternative on the day of the activity.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait in the facilities that the organisation has at the meeting point. Dogs may be kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
