Full description

Have you ever taken to the skies at 70 km/h? Imagine sliding down 445 metres, suspended in the air and held only by a harness.

It will be an experience of pure spectacle and adrenaline: 67 metres of vertical drop, the Hoz de Huécar at your feet and extraordinary views of the historic centre of Cuenca. For 40 seconds you can laugh, scream or simply enjoy the view and the wind in your face.

Get ready to experience first-hand the electrifying sensation of throwing yourself into the void. You won't regret it.

What we will do

The starting point of the Cuenca zip line is in the Barrio del Castillo, one of the highest points in the city and the perfect place to enjoy privileged views of the historic centre.

We will arrive about 15 minutes before the booking time. The team will welcome us and show us how to fill in the consent form before weighing us in order to choose the right equipment for us. A monitor will help us to put on our harness and helmet while explaining all the necessary details to make the most of the activity. Once fully equipped, we will have to descend about 30 metres to the exit platform, where we will be hooked up to the zip line cable and reminded of the safety rules.

All we have to do is let ourselves go and enjoy 445 metres of pure adrenaline and spectacle. The increasing speed, up to 70 km/h, will allow us to live a thrilling experience and the 67 metres of height difference will give us a privileged position from which to admire the city.

The arrival station is very close to the Parador Nacional de Turismo. After handing in your helmet and harness, you can cross the Puente de San Pablo bridge to the Cathedral and, from there, discover the hanging houses and continue to enjoy the charm of the city's historic quarter. If we want to return to the starting point, we can walk for about 20 minutes or use public transport.

In total the activity will take about 20 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

No previous experience is necessary and anyone weighing between 35 and 120 kg and between 1.20 and 2.15 metres tall can take part, with no age limit. However, pregnant women and people with heart conditions are advised against jumping.

Minors must be accompanied by an accredited parent or guardian. If they participate in a group, there must be one adult for every 5 children.

The zip line is suitable for people with reduced mobility, only a little more time will be needed in the phases before and after the jump. It will be necessary to give advance notice so that the team can provide the necessary assistance.
