Fancy swapping your alarm clock for the gentle murmur of the Mediterranean at dawn?
Enjoy the most peaceful moment of the day as you paddle along on a stand-up paddleboard in Barcelona. The magic of dawn will allow you to reconnect with yourself, gliding across the water off the beaches of Barceloneta and San Sebastián whilst gazing at the silhouette of Barcelona bathed in the first rays of light.
Return to shore with your batteries fully recharged, ready to start a new day.
What we will do
The instructor will meet us on time at the meeting point in Barcelona. We’ll spend the first 10 minutes on a brief technical explanation and training session so that we feel comfortable and can use the stand-up paddleboard with confidence. It’ll be very easy, as we’ll be using Red Paddle Co boards, which are very comfortable and sturdy.
With all our equipment, we’ll walk down to the shore to set off, paddling off the beaches of Barceloneta and San Sebastián. We’ll paddle for approximately 1 km along a very accessible route that will allow us to enjoy spectacular views of some of the most iconic landmarks on the Barcelona coastline, such as the iconic Hotel Vela.
The city’s skyline will glisten in the first rays of the sun as we stop to enjoy the tranquillity of dawn by the sea. A moment of total connection with ourselves, whilst Barcelona is still just beginning to wake up, during which we can also take the opportunity to have our first swim of the day.
We’ll return to the beach feeling re-energised and ready to tackle a new day with a completely renewed spirit.
The total time in the water will be around 50 minutes and the whole experience will last approximately one and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages and is open to children aged 4 and over.
Children aged between 4 and 10 will ride on the same board as an adult. From the age of 11, they may ride on their own board if they are able to do so independently.

Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed once a minimum group of 3 participants has been reached.
The timetable is dependent on the time of sunrise and may vary. Please contact the instructor to find out the exact time. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
There are changing rooms at the meeting point, but no access to showers. However, we recommend arriving with your swimwear already on.
Although there are no private lockers, you will have a space to leave your belongings at the school’s premises (which will be locked) .
The activity is dog-friendly, but life jackets for pets are not available.
There is paid parking near the meeting point, and you can also find free parking spaces in the La Barceloneta neighbourhood.
It is possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
