Full description
Forget the traditional tourist coach and feel the ocean breeze on three wheels as the sun sets over the Canary Islands’ coastline.
Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll travel along the scenic road between Maspalomas and Tauro on a 2-hour tour . You’ll take in the Gran Canaria coastline at sunset and stop at the viewpoint overlooking Amadores Beach to enjoy a light snack and snap some souvenir photos. A unique road-trip experience to enjoy as a couple or on your own.
What we will do
We’ll meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Maspalomas, at the southern tip of Gran Canaria. Our professional guide, who will accompany us throughout the ride, will be waiting for us there . After a short transfer to the base to finalise the details, we’ll be kitted out with approved helmets in our size and given a safety briefing. Before hitting the tarmac, we’ll carry out a quick test ride to familiarise ourselves with the handling and grip of our Can-Am Ryker.
Once ready, we’ll start the engines to begin our 2-hour coastal route skirting the south-west of the island along the GC-200 road . We’ll ride in convoy at a steady pace from Maspalomas towards Tauro, feeling the sea breeze and taking in the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean just as the golden afternoon light begins to colour the horizon.
We’ll reach our highlight stop at the viewpoint overlooking Amadores beach. We’ll take a break of about 10 minutes to stretch our legs, have a drink and get our mobile phones out to capture the sunset from a prime vantage point.
With our eyes filled with warm, beautiful scenery and our energy renewed, we’ll set off on the return journey along the coastline back to the base.
The activity will last a total of around 2½ hours, including preparations and the stop.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Category B driving licence (foreign licences are accepted) .
Passengers must be at least 10 years old and must be accompanied by an adult.
The difficulty level is easy and suitable for a first-time experience on a Can-Am Ryker. However, some prior experience with thumb-throttle vehicles is recommended, although this is not an essential requirement.
The maximum permitted weight is 200 kg per vehicle.
Pregnant women may take part in the activity at their own risk.
The activity is suitable for participants with reduced mobility, but you must consult the organisers in advance before booking.
Pets are not permitted.

The tour is available all year round, from Monday to Friday.
During the tour, the driver and passenger can take turns at the wheel, provided they both meet the necessary requirements.
The organisers have four Can-Am Ryker vehicles, each capable of carrying one driver and one passenger, making a total of eight participants.
There is a pay-and-display car park on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport (bus or taxi) .
The route runs entirely along tarmac roads.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
