Quad route through the volcanic south and the beaches of Lanzarote

Drive between volcanoes and black beaches and discover the most authentic Lanzarote!

Enjoy a 2-hour tandem quad tour in the south of the island, driving along solidified lava roads, off-road tracks and panoramic stretches that connect the volcanic landscape with the coast. A guided, dynamic and perfect experience to feel the unique contrast between the black earth and the ocean.

What we will do

We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Playa Blanca, where our guide will greet us to welcome us and start the preparation. They will check that we have a valid driving licence, we will receive our helmet and a brief explanation about the handling of the quad and the safety rules before starting the route.

With everything ready, we will leave the shop in Playa Blanca and take a short transfer by road to the off-road vehicle in the south of Lanzarote. From here the most fun part of the tour begins, with an itinerary that combines secondary roads and dirt tracks, crossing unique volcanic landscapes.

The route runs between Playa Blanca and Yaiza, bordering cliffs of solidified lava and arid areas that show the wildest character of the island. We will ascend to the Salinas de Janubio, where we will make a stop to contemplate this historic enclave and its volcanic environment, ideal for taking photos and enjoying the views.

We will then continue on to Janubio Beach, an impressive beach of black volcanic sand, where the contrast between the ocean and the lava creates a spectacular landscape. After enjoying the surroundings, we will start our way back to Playa Blanca, closing a varied route that combines driving, volcanic landscapes and coastline.

At the end, we will return to the starting point after 2 hours of adventure, with the sensation of having explored some of the most surprising corners of the south of Lanzarote on four wheels.

Who it is aimed at

The driver must be 18 years of age or older and in possession of a valid driving licence, which must be presented in physical form.

Children can participate as passengers from 5 years of age, always accompanied by an adult.

The experience is suitable for beginners; please advise if it is your first time riding a quad bike.

The maximum weight allowed is 200 kg.

Not recommended for pregnant women.

Suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs, always as passengers.

The experience is available all year round.

Departures available at 10: 00 h and 14: 30 h (Sundays, only under availability) .

The minimum group size is 1 quad and the maximum is 6 quads.

Each quad is a two-seater, with the possibility of interchanging driver and passenger during the route, as long as both have a valid licence.

There is free parking in the area and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.

Pets and external companions are not allowed on the route.

The organisers reserve the right to modify the route for operational or safety reasons.
