A boat without a licence, the Mediterranean Sea and the Migjorn Marine Reserve as a backdrop. Sounds good, doesn't it?
You can explore the south coast of Mallorca by setting sail from S'Estanyol de Migjorn- and you don't need a sailing licence! After a short training and a little practice with an expert skipper, you can sail at your own pace between Cala Pi and Colonia de Sant Jordi. On board you'll have everything you need to make the most of this spectacular protected environment.
You decide how long the adventure lasts: 2, 4 or 8 hours of sea, sun and freedom.
What we will do
Please arrive 15 minutes before the appointed time at the office in S'Estanyol de Migjorn, Mallorca.
You will be met by the staff in charge, who will give you a brief talk on safety rules and explain how to handle the boat. In addition , an experienced skipper will accompany you for the first leg of the journey, from the mooring to the harbour exit. This will give you time to practise a little until you are able to sail independently.
You’ll also be given advice on which coves to visit, which route to take and where to drop anchor, as you’ll be in the Migjorn Marine Reserve and it’s not permitted to drop anchor in areas with seaweed. Between Cala Pi and Colonia de Sant Jordi, you’ll find countless spots to spend the day, whilst staying within the designated limits for sailing without a licence.
You’ll be sailing on an Aquabat Sportline 17, a 5-metre-long boat with a 15 cv engine. It also features a stereo system, a bimini top, a swim ladder and a spacious sun deck at the bow… On board you’ll also find a portable cool box: don’t forget to bring ice to keep your drinks and snacks cool!
The experience will last a total of 2, 4 or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen when booking.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone. To rent the boat you must be of legal age.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
The boat is not easily accessible for people with mobility problems. If you think you will need assistance during embarkation, it is advisable to let us know in advance. You will receive contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The hire service is available from May to September, and trips can last 2, 4 or 8 hours, depending on the option chosen at the time of booking.
You can book snorkelling equipment and , for an additional fee, hire either a Sublue or a waterproof camera. Please contact the manager for further information. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Before boarding, you will need to provide a deposit of 300 euros, either via a credit card hold or a cash deposit.
You will also need to pay for fuel based on consumption: around 20 euros for 2-hour trips, 30 euros for 4-hour trips and 45 euros for 8-hour trips.
It is advisable to go barefoot on board .
Dogs are not permitted on board.
There is free parking very close to the meeting point and a bus stop nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
