Full description

Two adventurous souls, two cables suspended over the historic centre of Cuenca and 445 metres of adrenaline and fun. Enjoy twice as much by sharing the sensation of launching yourself into the void with a simultaneous jump on a zip line.

You will be able to slide in parallel over the incomparable panorama of the Hoz del Huécar, reaching 70 km/h. Under your feet 67 metres of vertical drop and spectacular views of the city of Cuenca.

Are you already thinking about the friend who always says yes to the craziest plans? It is well known that fun increases when it is shared. Together you can live all the excitement of this electrifying experience.

What we will do

The departure point is located in the Barrio del Castillo, a perfect place to enjoy privileged views of the city, as it is one of the highest points.

The team will meet us 15 minutes before the start and explain how to fill in the consent form. Afterwards, we will be escorted to the scales so that we can choose the right equipment for our weight. A monitor will give us the harness and helmet and will help us to get ready while giving us all the information we need to make the jump. We will only be about 30 metres away from the starting platform. When it is our turn, we will be attached to each of the two zip line cables and we will be reminded of the safety rules.

We will take a deep breath and let the instructor give the starting signal to simultaneously cover the 445 metres that separate us from the point of arrival. We will reach up to 70 km/h in a short but intense ride: 40 seconds of pure shared emotion. The increasing speed and the 67 metres of elevation gain will fill us with adrenaline without stopping us from admiring the panoramic views of the city.

The arrival platform is just a few steps from the Parador Nacional de Turismo, which will allow us to continue enjoying the historic centre of Cuenca with a leisurely stroll. After handing over the harness and helmet, we can head towards the Cathedral crossing the San Pablo Bridge, be amazed by the beauty of the hanging houses or enjoy the charming squares of the city. To return directly to the starting point it will be enough to walk for about 20 minutes or use a city bus.

The total duration of the activity is about 20 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

Anyone weighing between 35 and 120 kg and between 1.20 and 2.15 metres tall can take part, with no age limit or need for previous experience. However, pregnant women and people with heart conditions are advised against jumping.

Minors must be accompanied by an accredited parent or guardian. If they participate in a group, there must be one adult for every 5 children.

The zip line is accessible to people with limited mobility. It is important to give advance notice so that the team can organise the necessary assistance and provide more time for the phases before and after the jump.
