Watching the sun go down over the Costa Brava is a real spectacle, but experiencing it on board an exclusive sailing boat is an unforgettable privilege.
Climb aboard a fantastic 10. 5-metre sailing boat in Platja d'Aro, and design a totally tailor-made trip for up to 9 people. Sail propelled by the wind on the Costa Brava, connect with the sea while the sky is tinged with warm colours and enjoy an intimate moment without rushing. Guided by a professional skipper, you can relax on deck, or request a stop for a sunset swim. It will be 2 hours of absolute exclusivity and total disconnection.
What we will do
You will start your adventure 15 minutes before the time of departure at the meeting point in Platja d'Aro, Girona. There you will be met by your professional skipper who will welcome you to an elegant 35-foot sailing boat (10. 5 metres long) , equipped with bathroom, toilets and fridge. After a brief explanation of how the boat works and the basic safety rules, you will set sail about an hour before sunset, ready for a totally personalised experience.
You will sail gently away from the coast while the sails are raised and the boat starts to move forward propelled by the force of the wind. As this is a private excursion, you are at the helm of the experience: you can relax on the deck and watch the light turn soft and the cliffs of the Costa Brava take on golden hues, or if conditions permit and you feel like it, you can ask the skipper to stop for a unique swim at sunset.
Everything on this trip invites you to be calm, to share in intimacy and to enjoy the natural spectacle of the sun setting behind the horizon from an unbeatable perspective.
You will return to the port of departure having completed 2 hours in total, with your mind disconnected, your body relaxed and with the indelible memory of having experienced an exclusive sunset in the Mediterranean.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages, with no age limit.
Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, as the swim stop is optional.
Due to the technical and access characteristics of the boat, this experience is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

The experience is available from March to November with multiple daily departures.
Please note: departures are adapted according to the exact time of sunset. It will be necessary to confirm the exact time with the organisers in advance. You will receive the contact details in the confirmation email.
The sailing boat can accommodate up to 9 people.
The meeting point has lockers for your belongings and public showers on the beach.
In high season (June to September) the nearest car park is payable; the rest of the year it is free of charge. You can also easily reach the beach by public transport and walk a few minutes from the bus stop.
Pets are not allowed on the boat or in the beach area due to local regulations.
The route or bathing stop may be altered for safety reasons if the sea conditions or lack of adequate wind make it necessary.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
