Can you imagine feeling like you are in Africa in the middle of the Andalusian coast?
Travel through the Matalascañas Dune Park on a camel, visit the farm where these incredible animals live, feed them in a very close encounter and enjoy a tasting of dates and Arabian pastries, all in an exotic natural environment.
Up to 2. 5 hours in an experience suitable for the whole family.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point inside the Matalascañas Dune Park, in Huelva. There we will be met and transferred by vehicle to the farm, where the camels will be ready to start the experience.
We will start with the camel ride, going through the dune environment of the park for about 45 minutes . Along the route we will make several stops to get to know the landscape better: we will visit the Fossil Dune, the largest in Europe, and we will stop by the cliff of Torre la Higuera beach, where we will learn about the area and have time to take beautiful photos with the sea in the background. Throughout the tour, the guides will accompany us on foot, explaining interesting facts about the environment and the camels.
When we return to the farm, we will get off the camels and spend some time with them, taking photos and petting them. Afterwards, we will participate in an explanatory talk where we will learn about the life, behaviour and adaptation of these animals, while we will taste dates and Arabian pastries.
Afterwards, we will continue with a visit to the farm, where we will be able to feed -always under supervision- the camels and different animals such as llamas, African donkeys, horses, chickens and geese. We will also have the opportunity to get to know and taste handmade products, such as soaps made with camel milk and aloe vera.
In the afternoon shifts, the order of the activities is reversed: first we will have a talk and a visit to the farm, followed by the camel ride.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 2 to 2. 5 hours.

The maximum weight allowed per person is 90-95 kg.

The activity is available from February to December.
It is necessary to arrive in your own vehicle. The exact meeting point inside the Dune Park will be sent after booking.
Free parking is available on site.
Children under 3 years of age do not pay admission, but it is necessary to communicate their presence.
Pets are allowed both on the farm and during the tour (they can walk or ride in a paid seat) .
The experience takes place in groups of up to 14 participants per shift (7 camels) .
For bookings of 1 adult + 1 child, the weight difference between the two cannot exceed 40 kg.
The camels will be ready and saddled on arrival.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
