Ready for an extra dose of adrenaline on four wheels? Then get ready, because this quad tour from Puerto de la Cruz promises thrills, spectacular scenery and guaranteed fun.
First you'll visit an unspoilt beach, perfect for taking photos, then you'll follow trails through banana plantations and then an excitingoff-road area of varying levels that will get your adrenaline pumping. The route will end at a spectacular viewpoint at an altitude of 1000 metres, from where you will admire the whole valley while enjoying a typical Canarian snack.
Two and a half hours at the controls of a quad and memories that will last much longer. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
The meeting point is in Puerto de la Cruz, where the guide will be waiting for us 10 minutes before departure.
After the introductions, we will have to fill in the participation forms and then we will start the theoretical part of the experience: a brief briefing about the activity and the rules of the road and safety. We will continue with a practical part to learn how to handle the quad and we will be ready to start the tour.
We will start the route in Puerto de la Cruz, heading to a virgin beach where we will make a first stop to take pictures. We will visit several areas in the north of the island, rich in hilly landscapes, black sandy coasts and trails between banana plantations.
From there we will head to the off-road area, which represents 30% of a 45 kilometre route and has 3 levels of difficulty. This stage of the route will last 30 minutes, so that our adrenaline will be at its peak.
And it doesn't end here... From there we will continue by road to a viewpoint, situated at an altitude of 1000 metres, from where we will be able to appreciate the valley in all its splendour. Here we will take the opportunity to recharge our batteries with a typical Canarian snack and a soft drink before returning to the starting point.
The activity will last approximately 3 hours in total, of which 2 and a half hours will be spent driving.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners, it is not necessary to have experience driving a quad.
To participate you must have a B driving licence or equivalent and be of legal age. Foreign licences will be accepted as long as the driver is at least 18 years old.
The minimum age to participate as a passenger is 7 years old.
The maximum weight per quad must not exceed 170 kg.
The activity is not suitable for people with motor disabilities or pregnant women.
Other information
The experience is available all year round .
It is possible to do the route on either a single quad or a double quad. On the double quads, the driver and passenger can be swapped mid-route if both are eligible to drive at an extra cost of 20 euros .
The route is 45 km long and 30% of it is off-road.
We advise you to inform the organiser in advance of any allergies or intolerances in order to have analternative snack . You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
It is not possible to participate with dogs.
Free parking is available near the meeting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
