Leave the city streets behind and get ready to ride across solidified lava fields with the Atlantic on the horizon.
Enjoy a 1½-hour tour on a two-seater quad bike through the volcanic south of Lanzarote, travelling along dirt tracks and scenic stretches between Playa Blanca and Yaiza. A guided, dynamic experience – perfect for your first go on a quad bike whilst discovering the island’s wildest landscape.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, where the guide will welcome us and we’ll start getting ready. They will check that we have our physical driving licence with us, and we will be given a helmet and a brief explanation of how to ride the quad bike and the safety rules before setting off on the route.
Once everything is ready, we’ll set off towards the volcanic south of Lanzarote, embarking on a route that combines approximately 75 per cent off-road tracks and 25 per cent road. We’ll ride along dirt tracks, dusty paths and stretches of solidified lava, feeling the terrain beneath our wheels and traversing arid landscapes that look like something from another planet.
We’ll follow a dynamic route connecting Playa Blanca with Yaiza, winding our way alongside volcanic cliffs and passing close to unique natural pools. Halfway through the route, we’ll make a strategic 5–10-minute stop to stretch our legs, catch our breath and listen to the guide’s explanations about the surroundings. If both participants have a driving licence, this will be the ideal time to swap places behind the wheel.
Once the break is over, we’ll get back on our bikes to set off on the return journey, putting our skills to the test on the final bends of the road until we return to the starting point.
The experience will last a total of 90 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The driver must be aged 18 or over and hold a valid driving licence, which must be presented in hard copy.
Children aged 5 and over may participate as passengers, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
The experience is suitable for beginners; please let us know if this is your first time driving a quad bike.
The maximum weight limit is 160 kg.
Not recommended for pregnant women.
Suitable for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs, provided they are passengers.

The experience runs all year round. Departures are available at 10. 00, 12. 00, 14. 00 and 16. 00. (On Sundays, subject to availability only) .
The minimum group size is 1 quad and the maximum is 3 quads.
Each quad bike is a two-seater, with the option for the driver and passenger to swap places during the route, provided both hold a valid driving licence.
There is free parking in the area and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.
Pets and external companions are not permitted during the tour.
The organisers reserve the right to alter the route for operational or safety reasons.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
