Full description
Can you imagine exploring secret caves, swimming among barracudas and other species, and discovering seabeds full of life... without any previous experience?
Get on board in the south of Cala Galdana and experience 3 hours of unforgettable adventure: two incredible snorkelling stops (one in the mythical cave of Cala Macarella!), tea and biscuits on board, and a guide who will accompany you at all times. Everything is ready, you just have to come with the desire!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Ciutadella de Menorca, where we will be met by the team with everything we need: mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit. All we have to do is go with the desire to have a good time!
We will board a 7.5 metre inflatable semi-rigid dinghy, with capacity for 12 people, perfect for moving with agility and reaching hidden corners of the coast. From there, we will sail to the south of Cala Galdana, crossing one of the most beautiful stretches of the Menorcan coastline.
Before getting into the water, the guide will give us a very complete briefing of about 10-15 minutes, where he will explain how to use the equipment properly, how the activity is carried out, safety tips and, above all, what marine wonders we can find during the trip. And there are many of them: barracudas, octopus, rays, moray eels, groupers and many other species that inhabit these crystalline bottoms.
The first stop will be at a spectacular spot: the sea cave of Cala Macarella. This corner is a real hidden treasure, with walls that glow underwater and light effects that seem to be from another planet. There we will have time to explore calmly (40-45 minutes), floating among fish and admiring the underwater landscape.
We will then return to the boat to recharge our batteries with tea and biscuits on board. Once recharged, the second stop of 40-45 minutes will be at Cala Trebalúger, a virgin cove that is difficult to access by land, surrounded by untouched nature and calm waters.
After this last snorkelling session, we will return to the port with the feeling of having experienced something special, and in total it will be a little more than 3 hours of fun and discovery in one of the most beautiful corners of the Mediterranean.
