Full description
We will cross the sea from Montgat to enjoy the views of its beaches and the imposing city of Barcelona.
In this 1-hour group catamaran trip you will have the opportunity to learn the secrets of the art of sailing. You'll learn how to use the wind to propel the boat and you'll live the unique experience of sailing the sea at full speed, in front of the skyline of Barcelona.
To feel like a real explorer of the seas and discover the stunning coast of Montgat, come and enjoy!
What we will do
The meeting point is located in Montgat. It is advisable to arrive 15 minutes before the time indicated on the booking.
The first few minutes will be devoted to a talk in which the instructors will explain the safety rules and the basic concepts of sailing. Afterwards, we will get kitted out and head to the shore with the boats to start sailing.
We will start this group outing in Montgat, and we will sail for an hour in the waters near the town. We will have the opportunity to contemplate from the sea both Montgat and the Badalona area, Pont del Petroli and even the skyline of Barcelona.
Halfway along the way we can stop for a dip before continuing to sail the waters of the Mediterranean.
During the activity we will be able to familiarise ourselves with sailing and learn how to handle the boat by working as a team. We will also learn how to interpret the wind signals to use them to our advantage.
We will return to the starting point after 1 hour of sailing.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for beginners and is open to children aged 4 and over.
Children up to 8 years old must be accompanied, from this age it will be sufficient to present a signed authorisation.
It is not necessary to know how to swim.
Participants who have any doubts about the suitability of the activity are advised to contact the organiser using the contact details provided in the booking confirmation email.

The activity is available from 1 May to 30 September.
There is paid parking nearby and it is possible to arrive by train from Barcelona.
Facilities with changing rooms and lockers are available for participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
