If you've been feeling for weeks that every day is the same, we have the plan that will wake you up: canyoning in Río Verde, in the heart of the Sierra de Almijara, Granada.
A 4 hour experience between waterfalls, water pools and wild nature, to disconnect from the city and reconnect with yourself.
Are you going to miss it?
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Río Verde, in the municipality of Otívar, very close to the beach of Almuñécar, in Granada. There we will be welcomed, we will be given the necessary equipment and we will get ready for our adventure in the canyon of the Sierra de Almijara.
Afterwards, we will walk a few kilometres down to the start of the trail. Before we start, we will have a briefing of about 15 minutes, where we will be explained everything we need to know: safety measures, basic techniques and how we are going to enjoy this experience to the fullest.
Afterwards, we will have a 40 minute walk to the entrance of the canyon in the Rio Verde Canyon. It is a walk with brutal views, where we will begin to disconnect and enter into total nature mode.
At the beginning of the canyon, the real adventure begins: we will go down slides, abseil next to waterfalls and swim through impressive rock formations, with depths ranging from 1 to 8 metres. Along the route we will find several optional jumping points, from 1 to 12 metres high, for those who want to increase the adrenaline level.
The tour will end at the starting point, and in total, it will be about 4 hours of experience.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 9 and over. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women, wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility.
It is necessary to know how to swim.

The activity is available every day, all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 people.
There is the option of renting canyoning shoes for 15 € (only with previous request). The details to arrange this will be sent to you in the booking confirmation email.
There are no changing rooms, showers or lockers for valuables.
Accompanying persons and their pets can wait in the access area, but will not be allowed to join the route, and will have to pay an entrance fee of €5 per person.
Free parking is available. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
