If your plan to connect with nature consists of dodging umbrellas on the shore, we have a better idea: discover the beauty of the Medes Islands from the sea and enjoy a refreshing swim in the heart of the Costa Brava.
Hop aboard a spacious Menorcan in L'Estartit, and experience a 1 hour and a half shared crossing through the Montgrí Natural Park. Sail around the 7 islands of the archipelago, discover their secrets with the fun explanations of the guide on board and jump into the water to greet the fish of the reserve with the snorkelling equipment included. A great plan suitable for the whole family, perfect for activating the holiday mode and returning to port with your batteries fully charged.
What we will do
We will start the adventure punctually at the meeting point in L'Estartit, Girona. There, the organisers will welcome us to board a fantastic large Menorquina, a traditional motor boat, spacious and perfect for comfortable and stable sailing. After settling on deck, we will leave the harbour behind to enter the protected waters of the Montgrí Natural Park, the Medes Islands and the Baix Ter.
We will sail around the archipelago of the 7 Medes Islands, an ecological sanctuary famous for its spectacular biodiversity. During the trip, the guide on board will give us explanations about the natural environment and the species that inhabit the reserve. The most awaited moment will come when the boat stops and moors next to the islands: there we will enjoy a 20 to 30 minute stop for a refreshing swim. Those who wish can explore the seabed and observe the local fauna up close using the snorkelling masks and snorkels provided.
We will return to the port of departure having completed 1 hour and a half of the excursion, with the fantastic sensation of having lived an experience of nature and disconnection in one of the most beautiful corners of the Costa Brava.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from 0 years of age.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
It is not compulsory to know how to swim to take the boat trip, as the swimming stop is completely optional. However, it is required to know how to swim if you intend to enter the water during the anchoring.
The boat is adapted and suitable for people with reduced mobility (it is advisable to arrive early to facilitate boarding and to inform the organisers in advance) .

The experience is available all year round, on Wednesdays and Fridays.
The excursion is done in a shared group, requiring a minimum of 5 participants to confirm the departure and with a maximum capacity of 30 passengers on board.
The meeting point area has a paying car park, although if you prefer, there is a free car park in the beach area, located about 15 minutes' walk away . If you choose to arrive by public transport, bus stops will drop you off about 10 minutes walk from the boat.
Pets are not allowed on board and in the beach area due to nature reserve regulations.
All activities at sea are subject to weather conditions, so the route or swimming time may vary for safety reasons in case of bad sea conditions.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
