Rent a boat in El Puerto de Santa María without a nautical licence!
Get ready to take on the role of "captain for a day" and sail with your "crew" of up to 4 people to the wonders of the Bay of Cadiz.
A half day of sailing awaits you, between relaxing on board and jumping into the water from the boat.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). The owner of the boats will meet you, ready to hand over the boat reserved for you and your group.
This is an Astec 400 or Astec 450 motor boat, 4 metres long with a 15 hp Suzuki engine, equipped with a sundeck, awning and bathing ladder. Don't forget to bring food and drinks on board to toast with your "crew" of a maximum of 4 people!
An expert skipper will explain the characteristics and operation of the boat, and then you will practice a little without leaving the pontoon; this moment will last approximately 15 minutes. And in the blink of an eye, you'll be ready to take on the role of skipper and sail without a nautical licence! You will be able to venture out to discover the wonders of the Bay of Cadiz, up to a maximum of 2 miles from the coast.
Finally, you will return to the meeting point. The total duration of the charter is 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The charter does not require a nautical licence, but you must be of legal age to operate the boat.
There is no age limit for passengers: please contact the boat owner to inform about the presence of minors on board. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The boat is not accessible for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The rental is available all year round. You will need at least 2 people to go sailing.
You will sail in the boat El Rápido, an Astec 400, or in its brother El Espabilao, an Astec 450. The model of boat will depend on the availability of the day. Both boats are approximately 4 m long and have a 15 hp engine, no licence is required and can accommodate 4 people. They are equipped with extra large awning, bathing ladder and solarium.
It is possible to take small dogs on board. In any case, it will be necessary to communicate their presence in advance.
A fuel deposit of € 30.00 per boatis required on site, payable on boarding in cash or by credit card.
A security deposit is required on site: € 300,00 per boat, by temporary credit card hold.
Free parking is available. It will be necessary to contact the owner of the boats for free parking inside the harbour. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
