There are days to walk through the forest. .. and days to discover if you know how to survive in it.
In this one-day survival workshop in Colmenar Viejo you will learn how to find your way around, filter water, light a fire, set up shelters and solve real situations as you advance through the forest on a route full of tests and team challenges. An opportunity to test your ingenuity and your bushcraft skills .

What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the start at the finca in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, a large and natural terrain perfect for testing our survival skills. The instructor will welcome us, explain how the workshop will work and divide the group into teams before starting the first mission.
We will start with some basic notions of orienteering and practice the first exercises to find a hidden backpack with the day's instructions. From then on, we will be following a series of challenges that simulate real survival situations: water filtering, cabuyeria, different ways of lighting fires, choosing and setting up shelters and basic techniques for obtaining food. All designed to learn bushcraft techniques while we play, experiment and make mistakes.
With a map in hand we will advance through different points of the forest until we complete a route of about 4 km. We will solve tests, score points for our team and reinforce our survival skills in a 100% practical way. A fun, participative dynamic with that touch of competition that always encourages.
The experience will last between 6 and 8 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This is an introductory workshop, so no experience in brushcraft techniques is necessary .
It is open to participants from the age of 11. Minors need the authorisation of a legal guardian and are advised to participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity takes place on some weekends of the year, check the calendar for the next dates. It is confirmed when a minimum group of 8 participants is reached .
You will receive a group survival kit with tools such as rope, a machete, a canteen, a spark, a compass or water purification tablets.
The activity is pet-friendly, but if you bring your dog it will be necessary to inform the instructor in advance about the presence of pets. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
