If one day you get lost in the bush, you'd better be prepared.
With 4 hours in Colmenar Viejo you will be introduced to different survival and bushcraft techniques in a 100% practical way. All in teams, with challenges, points and that touch of competition that makes it even more fun.
Perfect for gaining confidence in nature, reinforcing group work and discovering what you are capable of when you get out of your comfort zone. Are you up for the challenge?
What we will do
The instructor will be waiting for us at the farm located in Colmena Viejo, Madrid, 15 minutes before the start time. We will meet in a large area surrounded by nature where our adventure will begin.
We will divide into teams and start with a brief introduction on orienteering and survival, which we will put into practice the first exercises to locate a hidden backpack with the instructions of the day.
From there, the action will begin: we will face different tests and challenges that will test our ability to react to a real survival situation. In the meantime, we will be able to learn techniques such as water filtering, cabuyeria, fire. .. Each group will have to decide how to act, manage the available material and cooperate to overcome the challenges.
Everything is learned through trial and error, and the competition will add an extra point of excitement. With the map in hand, we will travel about 4 km through different parts of the forest, solving new tests while reinforcing our bushcraft skills and teamwork.
The total duration of the experience will be about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This is an introductory workshop, so no experience in bushcraft techniques is necessary .
Participants from the age of 9 years and up can participate . Minors need the authorisation of a legal guardian and are advised to participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity takes place on some weekends of the year, check the calendar for the next dates. It is confirmed when a minimum group of 8 participants is reached .
You will receive a group survival kit with tools such as rope, a machete, a canteen, a spark, a compass or water purification tablets.
The activity is pet-friendly, but if you bring your dog it will be necessary to inform the instructor in advance about the presence of pets. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
