Enjoy a guided tour of the Clos de Basella winery, right in the heart of the Alt Empordà. You’ll explore its vineyards and biodynamic orchard to understand how organic viticulture respects the natural cycles of the land.
After learning about the winemaking process at the winery, you’ll take part in a guided tasting of five wines.
What we will do
Our expert wine tourism guide will welcome us punctually at the winery, situated in the village of Siurana, in the Alt Empordà region. We’ll begin the experience with a 15-minute stroll through the vineyards surrounding the estate.
We’ll discover the principles of organic viticulture and biodynamic agriculture that underpin the Clos de Basella project, understanding the land as a living ecosystem where biodiversity takes centre stage. We’ll also visit the biodynamic vegetable garden to learn how the soil is nurtured in harmony with nature’s cycles.
But the secrets of organic and biodynamic winemaking do not end there. Our tour will continue inside the winery. Over the course of about 30 minutes, we’ll learn about the specifics of the process and the estate’s philosophy that defines each label.
And then all that remains is to taste the result. We’ll settle into the tasting area and have time to enjoy a guided tasting of five wines: two from the main range (Ú white and Ú red) and three from the Premium range (the white Eos and the reds Selene and Geum) . The guide will teach us how to identify their organoleptic characteristics and appreciate the nuances that the terroir imparts to each glass.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours in total.

Although the experience is designed for adults, it is suitable for all ages.
Children, as well as pregnant women and those who do not drink alcohol, may request water or apple juice during the tasting.
The winery is accessible to people with mobility impairments or in wheelchairs.

If you prefer, you can skip the walk through the vineyard and start the experience by visiting the winery straight away.

There is free parking at the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.
