Delve into the landscape of Fontanars dels Alforins and discover the essence of an area nicknamed the "Valencian Tuscany".
Stroll through the local vineyards and learn about the production process with this experience at Bodegas Rafael Cambra, topped off with a wine tasting paired with cheeses, cold meats and the traditional coca d'oli (olive oil cake).
Come and discover the philosophy of a winery that respects the past to bottle the future.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Bodegas Rafael Cambra winery in Fontanars dels Alforins, about 5 minutes before the tour begins. We will be welcomed by an oenology expert guide who, after the first introductions, will accompany us on a walk through the vineyards .
It will take about 30 minutes and will offer us a panoramic view of Terres dels Alforins and its crops. During the walk, we will discover the secrets of the territory, the exciting project for the recovery of autochthonous vines and we will contemplate the old lime kilns of the area.
After the interesting immersion in the countryside, we will visit the winery. We will visit the winemaking area and the barrel room, where we will learn how the grapes are transformed into the unique wines of the house and we will understand Rafael Cambra's work philosophy.
We will end the experience with a tasting of 3 or 4 wines (depending on the season) , which will take us on a complete sensory journey through the local products, including whites, reds and rosés. Weather permitting, we will taste outdoors in direct contact with the vines; otherwise, we will do so inside the winery. To accompany the tasting, we will enjoy an aperitif with cheeses, cold meats and the traditional coca d'oli i sal.
The experience will last about 2 hours in total.

During the tasting, pregnant women and children will be served grape juice.
The winery is wheelchair accessible and the vineyard can also be visited by car.

The experience is available all year round, except from 15 July to 31 August. The visit is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached .

Pets are allowed in the vineyard, but not inside the winery during the visit.
There is free parking for guests at the winery itself. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.
