Serious tasting, with technicalities and awkward silences? Not here.
This is about enjoying, drinking good wine and understanding why Toro produces some of the most powerful (and sincere) red wines in the country. No bullshit or posturing.
For 90 minutes you will visit Bodegas Bigardo, just 3 km from Toro. You will listen to its history told by its own protagonists, and you will finish with a fantastic tasting of 5 D.O. Toro wines, accompanied by local tapas, views of the Duero... and a lot of toast.
What we will do
We meet at the agreed time at Bodegas Bigardo, just 3 km from Toro, in Zamora, literally on the banks of the Duero. The place is already promising, but the good stuff starts when we walk through the door and realise that there are no suits, no technicalities, no "wine with oaky notes" in a very serious voice. Here we come to enjoy ourselves.
We will start with a welcome without posturing, where they will tell us how this different, rebellious winery, so in love with its land, came about. We will chat with the protagonists of the project themselves, who will explain how they went from dreaming of making wine in Toro, to doing it... and very well, by the way.
Afterwards, we will enter the winery to see the winemaking process. No long walks or impossible to remember information: just enough to understand everything while still having a good time. We will learn, yes, but without realising it.
And then comes the best part: we will sit overlooking the Duero to taste 5 D.O. Toro wines: Bigardo, Satelite, Maldito Parné, Calma, and Pellejo, each one with its own character and its own vibe. While we taste them, our friendly guide, who in addition to being the owner of the winery is a biologist, oenologist, sommelier and barman, will explain with passion (and without filters) what makes each wine unique, and how the ink of Toro gives much more than you can imagine.
We will discover all the nuances, while we eat something delicious: cold meats, cheeses, chocolates... everything from the area.
In total it will be an hour and a half of wine, laughter and very good company. A real experience, with no trick or gimmick.

The activity is suitable for all ages. No previous knowledge is required.
Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied by an adult, but may not consume wine during the tasting.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
