Open your senses and get ready to discover the Penedès from a different perspective: aboard an open-top 4x4 between vineyards and wineries.
Travel along country roads, castles and viewpoints, learn about the region's wine-making history and finish with a guided tasting of local wines or sparkling wines. A 4-hour private experience that combines adventure, culture and the pleasure of toasting amidst unforgettable landscapes.
What we will do
You'll meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, in the province of Barcelona, where you'll be met by the guides and the open-top 4x4 vehicles that will accompany you on this experience among vineyards and wineries. After a brief introduction, you will be assigned your cars and start the route towards the heart of the Penedès, while the guide will tell you about the history and curiosities of this wine-growing region, one of the most emblematic in Catalonia.
You will drive through rural roads, castles and viewpoints with views of the Montserrat massif, crossing landscapes of endless vineyards that change colour with each season. Along the route you will pass by old cellars, lime kilns and places that keep the memory of centuries of winemaking tradition. The guide will tell you all about the area, its history and the influence of the sea and the mountains on the wines of the Penedès.
Halfway through the tour, you will arrive at a local winery selected according to the day's availability. There you will be welcomed by an expert oenologist or guide of the winery, who will show you around the facilities and introduce you to the personality of their wines. You will enjoy a guided tasting, adapted to your pace and preferences, in which you will be able to taste a young wine, an aged wine and a sparkling wine, either white or red, accompanied by a glass of wine snacks.
After the tasting, you will get back in the 4x4 to complete the route with the last panoramic views of the valley and return to the starting point.
In total, you will experience 4 hours of landscape, history and flavour, in a private experience that combines the adventure of the 4x4 with the pleasure of a good glass of wine, designed to your taste and pace.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all audiences.
Children under the age of 18 can participate accompanied by an adult, but will not be allowed to drink wine during the tasting. Instead, they can enjoy must ( freshly squeezed grape juice) .
This activity is accessible for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility who only require minimal assistance to get in and out of the 4x4. You must inform the organisers in advance using the contact details you will receive in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 4 people.
It is also possible to book the experience for 2 people, but a minimum fee of €420 is required, equivalent to the price for 4 participants.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and free parking is available.
The organisers offer a pick-up service from the bus stop at no extra cost . To request it, you will have to contact them directly through the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
