If you dream of challenging the wind, then Fuerteventura is the perfect place for you!
Get ready to experience a windsurfing lesson at the wonderful Playa El Río. In the company of an expert instructor, you will learn how to handle the sail and the board, discovering the secrets of this adrenaline-filled sport in one of the most fascinating places in the Canary Islands.
It will be a unique experience!
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at Playa El Río, Fuerteventura. Once there, we will be met by the instructor who will provide us with all the necessary equipment: board, sail, wetsuit, booties and lifejacket (if necessary).
After getting dressed, we will start with a short theory lesson on the beach to understand the basics of the discipline, safety rules and wind directions.
Then it's time to get into the water! Under the constant supervision of the instructor, we will learn how to balance on the board, how to sail against the wind and how to tack. The approach will be personalised: the group will be mixed in terms of age and level, but each participant will receive instructions adapted to their own pace and experience.
At the end of the lesson, we will return to the meeting point, with the energy still high and the satisfaction of having mastered the wind and the waves.
The activity will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The lesson is suitable for children aged 8 and over. Children under the age of 18 may participate with parental permission, who may attend the lesson from the beach.
It is recommended that you know how to swim, but those who do not know how to swim may still participate with prior notice to the instructor, who will provide a life jacket and take the necessary safety measures.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with reduced mobility.

The activity is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note! The timetable of the experience may vary depending on weather and sea conditions. The instructor will contact you the day before the experience to confirm its viability or to modify the timetable.
The beach is in the middle of nature and does not have showers or changing rooms.
For those arriving on their own at Playa El Rio, there is a free car park nearby. The meeting point is also accessible by public transport. Alternatively, by contacting the organiser using the details on the booking confirmation, it is possible to request a transfer service from various parts of the island to the meeting point.
Accompanying persons can wait on the beach and bring their dog on a leash.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
