Full description
Get ready to conquer the rapids!
Experience a fun white-water descent on the River Guadiela. You’ll navigate a Level 2 stretch – perfect for beginners – between Albendea and San Pedro Palmiches, alternating between the thrill of the rapids and calmer sections where you can take in the local flora and fauna.
Fasten your helmet and grab your paddle – let’s get started.
What we will do
The guides will meet us on time at the meeting point in Albendea. To begin with, we’ll organise the car journeys, ensuring we’re taken back once the trip is over.
Before heading out onto the river, we’ll take a few moments to explain the activity and the safety rules whilst we get kitted out with our individual equipment. After a brief introduction to the water and getting to grips with our self-bailing kayaks, we’ll be ready to go!
We’ll begin our descent down the River Guadiela to where it meets the River Escabas – a fun Grade 2 stretch that’s perfect for beginners. We’ll tackle some exciting sections of rapids, putting the guides’ instructions into practice to steer the kayak and navigate the current. We’ll also make the most of the calm stretches to relax and admire the scenery.
After more than two and a half hours, we’ll complete the river trip at San Pedro Palmiches, from where we can return to the starting point.
The activity will last a total of between 3 and 4 hours.
