Full description
The ultimate wine-tasting experience awaits you at the El Renegado estate.
Enjoy a complete wine tourism experience in Caudete de las Fuentes, Valencia, by visiting Bodegas Nodus. Centuries-old holm oaks, set amongst extensive vineyards, and a lively tasting session to discover the essence of organic wines and bold vermouths.
Forget about the time and raise a glass to the most authentic character of the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin.
What we will do
We’ll meet at the estate in Caudete de las Fuentes, Valencia, about 15 minutes before the tour begins. A wine expert with in-depth knowledge of the Bodegas Nodus project will guide us throughout the experience.
We’ll begin with an introduction to the activity in the courtyard and then take a short walk to one of the centuries-old holm oaks on the El Renegado estate, a 450-hectare tract of woodland and vineyards. In the shade of this monumental tree, we’ll taste the Nodus Chardonnay, an elegant and well-structured white wine .
Whilst enjoying the scenery, our guide will tell us about the organically grown grape varieties before we move on to the second part of the tour: the winery. There, the guide will explain the production process, detailing what happens from the moment the grapes enter the premises until they leave in bottles. We’ll visit the French oak barrel room and taste two further wines – in this case, reds. Although this may vary, the usual selections are the Nodus Bobal and Nodus Merlot Delirium, which we’ll enjoy alongside a small selection of local specialities.
To round off the experience in style, we’ll head to the winery shop and finish by tasting Vermouth Descaro and Vermouth Descaro Blanco.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours.

Minors may take part free of charge but are not entitled to a drink or snack (if they would like something, they may order and pay for it at the time) .
