Tandem paratrike flight over the Tartessian archaeological site of Tejada la Vieja

It's not every day that you get to fly over the remains of one of the first civilisations in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.

Take off on a tandem paratrike flight over the Tartessian site of Tejada la Vieja and enjoy up to 60 minutes of panoramic flight, comfortably seated and without the need to run. With the wind in your face and the landscape opening up beneath your feet, you will contemplate this historic site and its natural surroundings from a unique perspective.

What we will do

We will meet 20 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Tejada la Vieja, where our pilot will be waiting to welcome us. From there we will walk about 150 metres to the take-off field, located in a privileged natural environment.

Before getting on the paratrike, we will have a brief briefing of about 5 minutes, in which we will be explained how the experience will take place and any questions will be answered. We won't have to do anything else: the paratrike flight is perfect for beginners, as the pilot takes care of everything at all times.

We will settle into the tricycle, the engine will start to roar gently and, in a few metres and without the need to run, the ground will move away from under our feet. As we gain altitude, the landscape opens up and we begin to fly over the Tartessian site of Tejada la Vieja, with its archaeological remains integrated into an environment of great natural value, also entering areas of Sierra Morena.

During approximately 60 minutes of flight, we will enjoy a stable and relaxed experience, with the wind in our faces and privileged views that allow us to appreciate from the air the historical magnitude of the site and the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

After the flight, we will gently return to the landing point, closing the experience with the sensation of having discovered a unique place from a truly special perspective.

The total duration of the activity is approximately 1 hour and a half, including preparations and flight time.

Who it is aimed at

Ideal for people who want to experience flying comfortably and effortlessly, even if it is their first time.

No previous experience or specific physical condition is necessary, as take-off and landing are done seated and the pilot takes care of everything.

Suitable for ages 5 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian, who will sign the corresponding authorisation before the flight.

It is also a good option for people with reduced mobility, as long as they are able to sit and stand comfortably during the flight.

Accompanying persons can wait on the ground and watch both take-off and landing.

The activity takes place all year round, on Saturdays and Sundays, weather permitting.

The pilot will contact you in advance to confirm the exact time of the flight and the meeting point, located near Seville, in Huévar del Aljarafe. You will also find their contact details in the booking confirmation email.

It is possible to book the duo experience to fly two people at the same time with two pilots. This option has an additional cost of 19 euros per person (total 169 euros/person) to be paid on the day of the activity. Please contact the pilot in advance for more information. Free parking is available at the meeting point. Access by public transport is difficult.

The price includes photos and video of the experience. The pilot records the flight with a 360º camera and, a few days later, you will receive an edited video of about 2 minutes and approximately 15 photos, sent by WeTransfer.
