Do you think the Pyrenees are impressive? Then imagine seeing them from the air with this balloon flight in the Cerdanya valley.
Guided by the air currents, we will embark on a one-hour trip that will allow us to enjoy unparalleled panoramic views of the French Pyrenees, the Cadí mountain range and the Moixeró mountain range. At our feet, a wide valley with alternating forests and large meadows.
If you are looking for an experience that will immerse you in a magical atmosphere, this flight will not disappoint you.
What we will do
We will meet at the Cerdayna aerodrome, where we will be greeted at dawn by the flight team. We will be able to attend the inflation of the balloon, which in just 10 minutes will rise before us imposing.
Once the balloon is ready, the pilot will provide us with the necessary information to access the basket. Once on board, we will prepare for the flight with a brief introduction to the safety rules and an explanation of the activity.
We will take off very gently and soar in the air currents. Our worries will be left on the ground and we will enjoy the panoramic views of the mountains like children: the impressive Pyrenees, but also the Moixeró and Cadí mountain ranges and other massifs such as Pedraforca or Tossa de Alp.
We will reach an altitude of 2,000 metres, with a carpet of forests under our feet: firs, pines, beeches... And there will also be moments of low flight to appreciate the green meadows of the valley. After about an hour's flight, we will land to celebrate the success of the trip with a glass of cava and some pastries. To end the experience, the organisers will take us back to the take-off point in a 4x4.
As a souvenir of the adventure we will receive a flight certificate with our name on it. The team will also send us a photographic report of the experience.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is available for children aged 3 years and over. Children up to 16 years old must be accompanied, between 16 and 18 years old they can fly with a signed authorisation.
Adults weighing more than 100 kg must pay a supplement of 40 euros.
For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to fly .
People with disabilities or mobility problems must contact the organiser in advance so that the basket can be adapted (using the contact details in the booking confirmation email).
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The organiser will send you precise information before the day of the experience. After confirmation, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with reduced mobility and any food intolerance or allergy.
Free parking is available near the meeting point.
Largebags or backpacks must be stored in the organisation's 4x4, it is advisable to fly with the minimum in order to be comfortable. It is not possible to participate with pets.
It will be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight. In addition, after the experience, the organiser will send you the photos taken during the flight.
An extra breakfast/brunch service can be arranged with the organiser at a cost of 20 euros.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
