Do you often have your head in the clouds?
This hot air balloon flight is the perfect excuse so that no one forces you to come back to earth. Enjoy a unique experience and discover the city of Segovia from a completely different point of view: the aqueduct, the cathedral, the Alcazar... Everything will seem magical.
The air currents will decide the itinerary, making you feel as if you were in another dimension for an hour .
What we will do
We will meet at the take-off field, located on 3 de Abril Street, very close to the General Hospital of Segovia, about 15 minutes before dawn.
On arrival we will be able to see the team working on the assembly and inflation of the hot air balloon in which we will be flying. The team will welcome us and, with the first light of dawn, we will be able to start boarding the balloon. Once on board the basket, the pilot will provide us with all the necessary information about the flight and safety regulations and will answer any questions we may have.
The take-off will be an almost magical moment. Very gently we will rise between the currents thanks to the action of the hot air inside the balloon. We will move at different heights, gently rocked by the wind and enjoying our privileged place among the clouds.
It will be a pleasant ride of approximately one hour, during which we will be able to observe from above the major natural and architectural attractions of Segovia and its surroundings. We will see with different eyes emblematic monuments such as the majestic Roman aqueduct, the medieval walls that surround the city, the cathedral... The Alcazar of Segovia will also appear before us, like something out of a fairy tale, and on the banks of the Eresma River we will be able to make out the Mint, one of the oldest in Europe.
The wind will decide both our trajectory and the place where we will land again. As tradition dictates, after landing we will toast with sparkling wine. In addition, we will enjoy a well-deserved picnic with local products before returning in the organisation's cars to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone from the age of 6 can participate .
The only limitation, for safety reasons, is that pregnant women and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
The flight is accessible to people with mobility problems and there are places for wheelchair users. It will be necessary to contact the organiser beforehand.
People weighing more than 140 kg must also inform the organiser in advance.
Other information
The activity takes place every day of the year and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 8 participants is reached.
A few days before the flight, the organiser will send you an email with all the necessary information. In addition, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with mobility problems and any food intolerance or allergy.
It is not possible to leave your car on the take-off field itself, but you can park nearby free of charge. In addition, the organiser offers, on request, a transfer service from Madrid to the take-off point and back.
It is possible to bring a small backpack or bag, but large backpacks must be left in the organiser's car.
After the flight, the organiser will send to the booking email a flight certificate for each participant and the video and photos of the experience. It will also be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
