Balloon flight over Montserrat and El Bages

Getting up early won't be a problem if it's to live one of the best experiences of your life.

This balloon flight takes off with the first light of dawn to embark on a magical journey over El Bages. You will be able to observe from above the mystical massif of Montserrat, with its characteristic rocky mountains, the forests of pines and holm oaks, wheat fields... The exact itinerary will be a surprise, because it will be decided by the air currents.

You'll be just a few kilometres from Barcelona and, at the same time, you'll feel like you're in another dimension.

What we will do

The meeting point will be at the Parc de l'Agulla in Manresa and our experience will start shortly after sunrise.

Once at the take-off site, we will be able to watch the balloon inflation, which will last just over 10 minutes. The pilot will then give us all the information we need to get into the basket and, once on board, he will explain the activity and the safety rules.

We will then begin a smooth flight, lasting about 60 minutes, rocked by the air currents over El Bages. As we ascend over this region, the unique shapes of the Montserrat massif will be revealed in all their splendour: witnesses to a geological history that began millions of years ago, when these mountains emerged from the seabed.

You will see villages such as Sallent, Navàs, Mura and Moià, part of a landscape that from above looks like a mosaic combining villages, wheat fields, mountains and forests. Contemplating the landscape from a bird's eye view is a privilege: an experience of absolute calm until the wind decides where the journey ends.

We will land after approximately 1 hour of flight and, as tradition dictates, after arriving on the ground we will toast in the same field of arrival, in this case with a glass of cava that we can accompany with some delicious pastries. To end the experience, the organisers will take us back to the take-off point in a 4x4.

As a souvenir of the adventure we will receive a flight certificate with our name on it. The team will also send us a photographic report of the experience.

The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

Ballooning is available for children aged 3 years and over. Children up to 16 years old must be accompanied, between 16 and 18 years old they can fly with a signed authorisation.

Adults weighing more than 100 kg must pay a supplement of 40 euros.

For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to fly .

People with disabilities or mobility problems must contact the organiser in advance so that the basket can be adapted (using the contact details in the booking confirmation email).

Other information

The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.

The organiser will send you precise information before the day of the experience. After confirmation, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with reduced mobility and any food intolerance or allergy.

Free parking is available near the meeting point.

Largebags or backpacks must be stored in the organisation's 4x4, it is advisable to fly with the minimum in order to be comfortable.

It is not possible to participate with pets.

It will be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight. In addition, after the experience, the organiser will send you the photos taken during the flight.

An extra breakfast/brunch service can be arranged with the organiser at a cost of 20 euros.
