Get ready for an experience you won't forget: a balloon flight over the vineyards of La Rioja!
Enjoy a complete 4-hour adventure, which includes a magnificent 1-hour balloon flight at an altitude of over 1, 000 metres over spectacular landscapes, a toast with cava on landing and a typical lunch in good company. A magical experience, from which you'll come back with a light soul. .. and your mobile phone full of incredible photos!
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Cuzcurrita de Río Tirón, in La Rioja, ready to enjoy an unforgettable morning. Depending on the wind conditions, we will take off the balloon from there or we will travel by 4x4 to the ideal area for the flight.
Once at the take-off area, we will witness how the balloon is assembled and inflated, a process that lasts between 45 minutes and an hour. It is a very special moment, when everything starts to come to life and we begin to feel the excitement of what is to come. During this time, the pilot will explain all the details of the flight and give us safety instructions.
When everything is ready, we climb into the basket and begin to rise gently. We will float through infinite skies, flying over vineyards and hills, while our pilot accompanies us with comments and curiosities about the area. We will reach altitudes of over 1,000 metres (depending on the weather), and for 1 hour we will live a unique experience, between emotion, calm and that touch of adventure that makes it all unforgettable.
Once on the ground, and when the pilot indicates that it is safe to get out of the basket, we will celebrate the experience with a toast with champagne, laughter and surely some "we have to do it again! Then we will return to the starting point to enjoy a typical lunch with potato omelette, coffee and something cool to drink... and there we will also receive our flight certificate, to take home one more souvenir of this adventure through the heights.
In total it will be about 4 hours of fun, nature, new emotions and a different plan that you will remember (and tell about) for a long time.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a quiet activity in which anyone from 6 years of age can participate. No previous experience or specific preparation is required.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The minimum recommended height for children is 1.20 m, so that they can look out of the basket and not miss anything.
For safety reasons, pregnant women, people in wheelchairs, people with recent operations or serious back or spinal problems are not allowed to participate.
People with reduced mobility, who need minimal assistance can participate, but must contact the organisers in advance. You will receive the contact information in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity takes place from March to October, on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and will be confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
A few days before the flight, the organiser will contact you to give you all the necessary information. In addition, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with reduced mobility and any food intolerance or allergy.
The balloon rises to approximately 1,150 metres above sea level, although the exact height may vary depending on weather conditions.
It is advisable to wear closed, waterproof footwear, or bring a spare (sometimes landing in dewy fields).
Free parking is available at the meeting point.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
Pets are not allowed on the flight.
No flammable objects are allowed on board.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse access to persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
