A balloon flight in Guadix is not a simple experience. .. it will seem like an interstellar journey.
From the air, the Granada Geopark unfolds like a landscape from another planet: canyons, desert areas and whimsical formations shaped by millions of years of geological history. You will fly for about 1 hour, swaying in the wind, unhurried, feeling tiny before the grandeur of the Earth.
And when you touch the ground again, a local breakfast , a toast with sparkling wine and a diploma as a souvenir awaits you. It will be difficult to forget what you have experienced.
What we will do
The meeting point in Guadix will be about 45 minutes before sunrise . The team will be waiting for us there to take us by 4x4 to the take-off point, where our adventure will begin.
Once there, the balloon will be inflated and the pilot will give us the necessary instructions to enjoy the flight in complete safety. The take-off will be almost like a magic trick: we will start to rise gently, rocked by the air currents, to fly over the impressive formations of the Geopark of Granada.
At a slow pace, and letting ourselves be carried by the wind, we will contemplate this arid and monumental landscape from the heights: a parade of capricious shapes, modelled over millions of years by ancient lakes, extinct rivers and the ecosystems of the Quaternary. We will feel like we are on another planet.
The landing will be equally soft, guided by the whims of the wind. Once on the ground, the team will pick us up in an off-road vehicle to return to the starting point, where we will enjoy a local breakfast. There will be a sparkling toast and time to savour the experience. .. or even explore some of the sights seen from the sky on foot.
The flight will take about 1 hour and the total experience will last approximately 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages.
We recommend a minimum height of about 1. 40 metres.
The maximum weight per passenger is 130 kg.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women.
The balloon is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with problems to stand for a long time and/or bend their knees (movement necessary during the landing) .
Other information
The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 6 passengers. Please note that the flight is strongly conditioned by the weather.
Once your booking has been confirmed, the flight organiser will send you the documentation to register you as a passenger and will inform you of the exact time of the meeting, which will depend on the sunrise.
It is not possible to take pets on board the balloon.
You may take a small, light bag or backpack on board.
There are breakfast alternatives for people with intolerances or allergies, as well as for vegetarians or vegans, if you let the organiser of the experience know in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
It is possible to arrange transport from your accommodation directly with the flight organiser .
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. It is not possible to get there by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
