Have you ever wondered what it feels like to float peacefully among the clouds? A hot-air balloon flight is the answer to this almost mystical experience.
What's more, you can do it in a unique setting that will make you daydream: the Costa Brava. With the air currents as your only guide, you'll fly over the Empordà for an hour and see the sea from a privileged, completely new and magical point of view.
Starting with the inflation of the balloon and ending with a toast with Catalan cava, every detail will be unforgettable. If you are a sea lover, don't miss this fantastic trip.
What we will do
The experience will start shortly after sunrise. We will meet the pilot at the take-off area, located in the Empordà.
We will be able to witness the inflation of the balloon, a phase that, in just 10 minutes, will leave us astonished. The pilot will guide us into the basket and, with the whole group on board, will explain everything we need to know to make the most of every little detail. Without forgetting the safety rules, we will be ready to start flying.
After take-off, it will be the wind that decides our route, making it even more special as it is unique. We will let ourselves be carried away by the whims of the air currents to discover wonderful landscapes, such as the Ter river as it passes through Colomers, the sunrise behind the Medes Islands or the unmistakable castle of the Montgrí massif. We will enjoy privileged views of the bay of Roses and, if there is good visibility, we will be surprised to see Cape Creus and the Pyrenees as a backdrop to this magical experience.
Flying very close to the coast, we will be able to reach a maximum altitude of 1000 metres in approximately one hour of flight. After landing, a toast with Catalan cava will put the finishing touch to an unforgettable trip. We will also receive water, fruit juice and biscuits. With our flight certificate in hand, the organisers will accompany us back to the take-off point.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is suitable for children aged 5 and over.
For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to fly . In addition, the organisers will refuse boarding to people under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances.
The organiser is equipped to assist persons with reduced mobility. It is possible to communicate in advance if assistance and/or a hydraulic chair is required to board the basket.
Other information
The activity will be confirmed if weather conditions permit and if a minimum number of 6 participants is reached.
The organiser will send you an email 2 days before the flight with the exact time and place. After confirmation you will be able to communicate the presence of people with reduced mobility and any food intolerance or allergy.
You will be able to park for free near the meeting point.
The balloon will have a capacity of between 8 and 16 people and it will not be possible to bring food and/or alcoholic beverages. To travel with dogs it will be necessary to inform the organiser beforehand, who will ensure that the activity is carried out with respect for the other participants and the welfare of the animal itself.
After the flight, the organiser will send a link to the booking email with photos taken during the experience. It will also be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
