There are ways to disconnect... and then there's floating in silence over breathtaking landscapes, feeling the whole world at your feet.
With this hot-air balloon flight over the Lluçanès region, you'll spend an hour discovering the unspoilt beauty of a serene and surprising region. You will fly over green meadows, cereal fields, red pine forests and charming villages. If the day is clear, you will see Montserrat to the south, and to the north, the peaks of Pedraforca and Puigmal framing the Pyrenees.
It is a magical, leisurely experience, perfect for reconnecting with the present. You will be left with a unique memory... and a great desire to repeat.
What we will do
The flight team will meet us in the vicinity of Gurb Castle at dawn. Before the activity begins, you can watch the balloon being inflated, and in just 10 minutes it will rise before you in awe-inspiring fashion.
The pilot will guide us as we board the balloon one by one and, once on board, he will explain how the flight will take place and what the main safety rules are. With everything ready, we will begin to soar delicately through the air currents to embark on a magical journey through the clouds.
We will be amazed by the impressive panoramic views of the Sau reservoir, Montseny, the Guilleries or the Obac mountain range, between rock formations and reddish pine forests. We will discover the unspoilt beauty of the villages in the area and let the wind blow us over green meadows and cereal fields.
If the day is clear, we will be able to see both Montserrat to the south and Puigmal and Pedraforca to the north, showing us the majesty of the Pyrenees. We will follow the pilot's explanations attentively until the wind decides where to land.
We will get our feet back on the ground after approximately 1 hour of flight and, as tradition dictates, we will toast in the same field of arrival, in this case with a glass of cava that we will be able to accompany with some delicious pastries. To end the experience, the organisers will take us back to the take-off point in a 4x4.
As a souvenir of the adventure we will receive a flight certificate with our name on it. The team will also send us a photographic report of the experience.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is available for children aged 3 years and over. Children up to 16 years old must be accompanied, between 16 and 18 years old they can fly with a signed authorisation.
Adults weighing more than 100 kg must pay a supplement of 40 euros.
For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to fly .
People with disabilities or mobility problems must contact the organiser in advance so that the basket can be adapted (using the contact details in the booking confirmation email).
Other information
The activity is available all year round and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
The organiser will send you precise information before the day of the experience. After confirmation, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with reduced mobility and any food intolerance or allergy.
Free parking is available near the meeting point.
Largebags or backpacks must be stored in the organisation's 4x4, it is advisable to fly with the minimum in order to be comfortable.
It is not possible to participate with pets.
It will be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight. In addition, after the experience, the organiser will send you the photos taken during the flight.
An extra breakfast/brunch service can be arranged with the organiser at a cost of 20 euros.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
