Full description
Aranjuez at your feet and the sky as the only limit. A hot air balloon flight to get to know the city through different eyes.
Flying over the Royal Palace and its elegant gardens you will be able to admire the harmony between architecture and nature. The air currents will mark the route, and the balloon will fly gently over the Tagus River and some of the most emblematic places in the city.
The final destination will be decided by the wind, but what is certain is that this experience will remain engraved forever in your memory.
What we will do
We will meet at the Aranjuez fairgrounds, where the take-off point is located, 15 minutes before dawn.
On arrival, the team will already be preparing the balloon and we will be able to witness the fascinating inflation process. We will then climb into the basket and the pilot will give us a brief explanation of the safety rules.
We will be ready to take off gently over Aranjuez . For approximately one hour, we will enjoy incomparable views of the Royal Palace and its gardens, the elegant Casa del Labrador or the bullring. From the air, we will also admire the meandering course of the Tagus River, which crosses the city creating a unique landscape, or the Sea of Ontígola, a reservoir that served to regulate the water in the gardens.
The experience will culminate with a soft landing, followed by a toast with sparkling wine and a delicious picnic with local products, before returning in the organisation's cars to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity will be around 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone from the age of 6 can participate .
The only limitation, for safety reasons, is that pregnant women and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly.
Children must always be accompanied by an adult.
The flight is accessible to people with mobility problems and there are places for wheelchair users. It will be necessary to contact the organiser beforehand.
People weighing more than 140 kg must also inform the organiser in advance.
Other information
The activity can be done every Saturday of the year and will be confirmed if a minimum number of 8 participants is reached.
A few days before the flight, the organiser will send you an email with all the necessary information. In addition, you will be able to communicate the presence of people with mobility problems and any food intolerances or allergies.
Free parking is available near the take-off point.
A small rucksack or bag can be carried, but large rucksacks will need to be left in the organiser's car.
After the flight, the organiser will send a flight certificate for each participant and the video and photos of the experience to the booking email. It will also be possible to use phones or cameras during the flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
