Who said you can only fly in your dreams? This hot air balloon ride over Aranjuez is pure reality.
Flying over the Royal Palace and its elegant gardens or the course of the Tagus River , you will be able to admire the harmony between architecture and nature. The air currents will decide the itinerary, while you enjoy a slow and gentle journey through the clouds.
The final destination will be a surprise, but what is clear is that you will not want to return to land.
What we will do
We will meet at the Aranjuez fairgrounds, where the take-off point is located, about 10 minutes before sunrise.
If we want to attend the balloon preparation and inflation process, we will have to be there about an hour before sunrise. Otherwise, everything will be ready to embark and take off on arrival. The team will welcome us and we can gradually begin to climb into the basket following their instructions. Once on board the basket, the pilot will give us all the necessary information about the flight and the safety rules.
With the first light of dawn, we will be ready to rise gently over Aranjuez. Over the course of approximately one hour, we will enjoy incomparable views of the Royal Palace and its gardens, the bullring and even the elegant Casa del Labrador. From the air, we will also admire the Mar de Ontígola, a reservoir that was used to regulate the water in the gardens, and the course of the Tagus River, which majestically crosses the city.
The wind will decide the itinerary and also the place for the landing, which will be soft and calm . As soon as we get our feet back on the ground, we can toast our adventure with sparkling wine, a gesture that is part of the balloon flight tradition. In addition, we will have a delicious aperitif with omelette, Manchego cheese, fuet and picos, as well as water and soft drinks, before returning in the organisation's cars to the starting point.
The total duration of the activity will be about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Ballooning is a very peaceful activity in which anyone from 4 years of age can take part . The important thing is that the child is at least 1 metre tall, that they are independent when getting in and out of the balloon, and that they can understand the pilot's explanations. Children must be accompanied.
The only limitation, for safety reasons, is that pregnant women and people with osteoporosis are not allowed to fly.
The basket is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with severe mobility problems. All participants must be able to access the basket independently.

The activity takes place every weekend of the year.
A few days before the flight, the organiser will send you an email with all the necessary information. You will also be able to report any food intolerance or allergy.
It is not possible to leave your car on the take-off field itself, but you can park nearby free of charge.
It is possible to bring a backpack or small bag.
On the day of the flight, the organiser will send you a video and photos of the experience.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
