Discover, on the banks of the Tagus, how a wine with character is made.
Enjoy a complete wine-tasting experience at Bodegas y Viñedos Casa del Valle. You’ll be welcomed to their estate in Yepes, in the province of Toledo, just an hour from Madrid. You can stroll amongst the vines, explore the secrets of the winemaking process and take part in a tasting of three premium wines paired with Iberian ham and Manchego cheese.
Forget about the time and let yourself be swept away by the character of the Tagus Valley.
What we will do
Our expert wine tourism guide will meet us about 15 minutes before the tour begins at the winery in Yepes, Toledo.
After a brief round of introductions and an overview of the Casa del Valle project, we’ll begin the tour with a 15- to 20-minute walk through the vineyards. During the walk, we’ll learn to understand the vine’s growth cycle and discover the care required for both the land and the vines throughout the year.
Gradually, we’ll delve into the ‘château’ philosophy that characterises the production at this winery , situated in the heart of the Tagus Valley, which is dedicated to overseeing every stage of winemaking, from cultivation to the marketing of the final product. The aim? To combine tradition and technique to guarantee an exceptional result.
We’ll follow the journey of the grape inside the winery, passing through the production area to understand the technical processes and arriving at the ageing cellar.
Afterwards, with a brief introductory tasting session, the guide will prepare us to evaluate three premium wines, carefully selected according to the time of year. We’ll savour each glass at a leisurely pace, accompanied by an assortment of Iberian cured meats and Manchego cheese.
The experience will last approximately between one and a half and two hours. You’ll be free to ask as many questions as you like, or simply relax and enjoy the tasting.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages.
Children up to the age of 7 can attend free of charge but are not entitled to a wine tasting or appetiser. From the age of 8, a reduced rate applies and wine is replaced with grape must, served alongside a selection of Iberian cured meats and Manchego cheese.
If there are pregnant women or non-drinkers amongst the adults, they may also request grape juice during the tasting.
The tour can be adapted to make it accessible to people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs. Please contact the winery in advance; you will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The experience is available all year round at weekends and is confirmed once a minimum group of 6 participants has been reached.
The walk through the vineyard is subject to weather conditions and may be replaced by a guided tour in a covered area from which you can enjoy views of the countryside.
If you have any food intolerances, allergies or special dietary requirements, please contact the winery around 4–5 days before your visit so that they can provide alternatives for the aperitif. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Petsare not permitted on the winery premises.
There is free parking for customers on the winery premises. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
