There are wineries that manage to enclose an entire landscape in their bottles.
At Adega Entre os Ríos, in A Pobra do Caramiñal, you will be welcomed by the winemaker himself to show you how his Albariños and brancos lexítimos. Walk around the estate, visit the family winery and discover every step from the vineyard to the glass .
Taste 2 of their wines accompanied by tapas such as empanada, tortilla and steamed mussels. Galicia served in sips and bites.
What we will do
The winemaker will welcome us at the adega located in A Pobra do Caramiñal, a small family winery attached to the IXP Viños da Terra do Barbanza e Iria and specialised in albariño with a small production of raposo or branco lexítimo grapes.
We will begin the experience by taking a tour of the 3 hectares of land that make up the estate. Among the vines we will learn how this project was born, which for decades produced wine only for its own consumption. If it rains, the explanation will be moved to the vine at the entrance or under an umbrella: water is part of the experience here.
We will then enter the winery. We will see the different wines produced, the barrel area and the main stages of vinification and ageing. The winemaker will explain how each wine is worked in a limited production of between 15, 000 and 25, 000 bottles per year.
We will finish in the tasting room. The first wine will be followed by a commented tasting, focusing on aromas and flavours. Afterwards, we will continue freely accompanying the sips with a complete tapas menu of typical Galician products: empanada, omelette, steamed mussels. .. The sea and the land of Barbanza served in small portions.
The wines, depending on availability, are usually: KomoKabras Verde, a vibrant albariño that does not go unnoticed, and Vulpes Vulpes, a lexítimo branco.
The experience will last approximately one and a half hours, although the tasting time is very flexible.
Who it is aimed at
The visit is suitable for everyone.
To take part in the wine tasting you must be of legal age. Minors can pay a reduced fee which includes a free must or a soft drink with the tapas.
The winery is accessible for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments; access to the tasting room requires a small step (assistance is available) . A tour of the vineyard would not be possible.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 4 people.

Pets are not allowed during the visit.
If it rains a lot, the visit to the vineyard will be skipped and the part of the cultivation in the vineyard in front of the house will be explained. If the rain is not too heavy, umbrellas will be provided.
There is free parking for guests on the grounds of the winery itself. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport; the nearest station is 3 km away.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
