Enjoy a complete gastronomic experience at the Baron d'Alba winery in Les Useres. Tour the vineyards and the ageing room with the owner, enjoy a tasting of four wines paired with local products and finish the experience with a picnic lunch of grilled meats and vegetables.

What we will do
We will meet on time at the facilities of the Baron d'Alba winery, just a few minutes from the centre of Les Useres. There we will be welcomed by the owner, who will personally guide us through this immersion into the heart of the Castelló PGI.
We will start with a one-hour tour of the vineyard and the barrel room, where we will discover how the microclimate of the Penyagolosa valley and the influence of the Mediterranean mould the character of the vines. If the weather is not good, we will enjoy the explanation under cover in an area with panoramic views of the countryside.
After learning the secrets of production, we will participate in a tasting of 4 wines that vary according to the season: white, rosé, young red and crianza red. To enhance the nuances of each glass, the tasting will be paired with an aperitif of local products such as cheeses, local cured meats and the traditional bread with tomato and extra virgin olive oil .
To round off this day of immersion in the area, we will get together to enjoy a full picnic lunch. We will taste selected vegetables, meats and sausages , all cooked on the grill, to close the experience with the most authentic flavour of inland Castellón.
The total duration of the experience will be approximately 4 and a half hours.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum group of 2 participants is reached.
Important: in the months of July and August, the visit starts at 19: 00 and lunch is replaced with dinner.
The experience will take place at the Baron d'Alba winery, a winery located in Les Useres (Castellón) where the influence of the Mediterranean and the protection of the mountains create an ideal microclimate for the cultivation of vines. Its 15 hectares of vineyards are located on stony and limestone soils, conditions that favour the quality of the grapes. With limited yields and exhaustive care of the vineyard, the winery is committed to wines that reflect the character of the territory, combining tradition, respect for the land and modern oenological technology.

There is free parking for guests on the estate itself. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
