Get ready to conquer a little piece of the Aragonese Pyrenees.
The via ferrata of Sorrosal is one of the most spectacular and complete: it goes up two large waterfalls, crosses a tunnel excavated in the rock and advances between steps, clamps, bridges and passages next to the ravine. All with breathtaking views over Ordesa.
A 2. 5 hour vertical challenge in a magical place. Will you accept it?
What we will do
The appointment with the guide will be at the indicated time at the Torla offices. There we will check in, collect the technical equipment and organise our journey by car to the town of Broto, a journey that will take about 10 minutes.
Once in the area, we will get ready while the guide gives us the first indications. A brief 5-minute walk will take us to the foot of this spectacular via ferrata, one of the most beautiful and complete. Before getting down to work, the guide will explain how to progress along the route, how to use the equipment and how to tackle the different steps.
The route begins with a strong start: we will go up two impressive waterfalls along sections equipped with clamps, steps and ladders. Further on, we will cross a tunnel excavated in the rock and walk along the Sorrosal ravine, surrounded by pools, overhangs and surprising formations.
In the final part, we will ascend a wall, progressively gaining height. From there, we will enjoy spectacular views of the valley, the village of Broto and the whole waterfall. After completing the 610 metres of the route and the 200 metres of height difference, there will only be a comfortable return on foot of about 20 minutes to the car park.
The total duration of the activity will be approximately 2 hours and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 12 and over or 40 kg. No experience is necessary.
Minors need an authorisation signed by a legal guardian to participate.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with mobility problems.
The activity is not recommended for people with severe vertigo problems.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 participants is reached.
Important: in some periods of the year it is necessary to pay a municipal fee of 3.5 euros (summer and public holidays).
Accompanying persons who do not participate can stay in the area, walk 5 minutes to the Sorrosal waterfall and watch the activity from below. Dogs are not allowed in the activity, but they must be kept on a leash.
During the activity the guide will take photos that will be shared with you in a Google Drive folder.
There is free public parking both at the meeting point and in the vicinity of the canyon. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
